Also, your supposed "church" began very late in the game, in the 18th or 19th century... yet Jesus said that not even the gates of Hell itself would destroy HIS Church. (Mt 16:18)

His Church has been with us from the very beginning (still is, despite the worldly, demonic activities in the Vatican, which is just a city-state, not the Holy See founded by Christ with St Peter as its first pope).

Catholicism (confession to a priest, Transubstantiation...) was taught from the very beginning. Anyone who reads the Early Church Fathers knows this. The Fathers knew the 12 Apostles.. and their writings date back to the very beginning of AD time..

Did the Catholic Church that you subscribe to ever have the Priesthood authority to do any of the ordinances for salvation and exaltation? NO! The apostacy was well established in which the authority had been fully lost. No Prophets and no Apostles. Dead. Therefore, you have been deceived.

As far as plural marriage, Abraham on down to David who had many, many wives. And, we even recognize the Book of Psalms written by fallen David as scripture. Jesus referred to Psalms like Psalms 82:6. In the New Testament, Jesus never said one thing about homosexual acts being sinful or not. Yet, Paul was told through revelation that homosexual acts is definitely a sin. Romans Chapter 1 is very clear about this. The absence of something is not evidence that something doesn't exist. That's illogical.

I explained in detail that the reason for the re-establishment of the Lord's church came in the latter days is because of a great apostasy that took place where the heavens were closed to revelation, guidance and authority to act in the name of Jesus Christ. Both OT and NT have verses stating the re-establishment of the Lord's kingdom on earth.

The real issue is that people have both confirmation bias and normalcy bias that makes it difficult to be teachable to the Holy Ghost on anything different from what they have learned and been a part of for a long time. There was a time when the people thought the sun revolved around the earth and the earth was the center of the universe. They were unable to believe that the stars and planets were not orbiting the earth. The Bible is actually the blueprint of what the true Church should have as far as doctrine and authority including the structure. The only one that is just like the Church in Jesus day and the days of the 12 Apostles of the Bible is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Starts on the foundation of apostles and prophets as Ephesians testifies to.

You are in error. You don't know Church history, and like I've said many times b4, it doesn't look like anyone on this board does know TRUE Church history, not one bit.

So I don't see what you and I have to talk about. If you cared about the TRUE Christian Church, the ONE and only that Christ himself founded (not some human like Luther, etc), you would investigate the Catholic Church which, unlike the LDS (non-church) traces itself back to Christ and the 12. The LDS obviously cannot trace itself further back than a couple hundred years at best, but you cling to it anyway, probably because it promises a good life in this world. They reward their own. The do not reward rebels who question or disagree w/ what they teach.

So anyway... I think I will confine my thoughts and comments to those who know or at least are interested in learning Church history, which for now means I won't be talking to many..
