Zone1 So When Is Church Going To Be Made Great Again?

John 3:16: "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life."

You are in error. You don't know Church history, and like I've said many times b4, it doesn't look like anyone on this board does know TRUE Church history, not one bit.

So I don't see what you and I have to talk about. If you cared about the TRUE Christian Church, the ONE and only that Christ himself founded (not some human like Luther, etc), you would investigate the Catholic Church which, unlike the LDS (non-church) traces itself back to Christ and the 12. The LDS obviously cannot trace itself further back than a couple hundred years at best, but you cling to it anyway, probably because it promises a good life in this world. They reward their own. The do not reward rebels who question or disagree w/ what they teach.

So anyway... I think I will confine my thoughts and comments to those who know or at least are interested in learning Church history, which for now means I won't be talking to many..
You don't know the history of the Church Jesus Christ established while on earth or you would have answered something other than attempt to squirm away when you know The Catholic Church has no Priesthood Authority. Our 12 year old Deacons have more authority than the Pope and all his priests do. You make up orders of the priesthood that never existed in the apostles writings contained in the New Testament. There is no Franciscan priesthood. Made up by humans in apostasy. No Jesuit priesthood or any of the other fraudulent made up orders of the priesthood.

Now, as far as how far back the church goes has no bearing on the authority in which the church has. Heck, the Jew's church (synagogues) religion goes back 5,785 years. And, they don't even have authority of the priesthood after the order of Aaron (Levitical). Some claim to but they too apostatized a long time ago. However, John the Baptist did have authority of the Aaronic priesthood order and came back and conferred this priesthood upon Joseph Smith in 1829. Peter, James and John were conferred the priesthood after the order of Melchizedek (the order after the Son of God) and came back to confer this priesthood on Joseph Smith in 1829.

Here's newsflash for you. There is another order of the priesthood linked back to the Patriarchs of the OT times. It's the Partiarchal Order of the Priesthood that Elijah brought back to bind families together forever. Malachi 4:5-6, "Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." Obviously speaking of the last or latter days before the 2nd coming of the Lord. So, has Elijah come to the Pope? No. Is the Pope expecting this to happen? Nope. Apostasy. Elijah came to the temple in Kirkland, Ohio, April 3rd, 1836 to confer the keys of sealing families together forever. Also, the keys to act in the name of Jesus Christ's authority for all of the priesthood orders. As a side note, Moses accompanied Elijah on this mission to Joseph Smith. Other were present and saw as well. It's in their journals.
