Zone1 Temptation Is Not A Sin

Priests can forgive sins? What denominations believe this?
I thought they just heard confession....

Why do you think you are confessing? Confessing your sin to the priest is confessing your sins to God. And as a plenary portion of God, God can forgive you your sin via the priest.

That is why Catholics go to confession. What would be the point otherwise? Just to feel better or so that your priest knows?

Me personally I don't believe that your sins shouldn't be anybody's business but God's. Although I must admit that this is pretty cute. 🥰

Well, unless you are Catholic, there are no confessions, and what if you don't realize or know you've committed a sin to confess?

Well I pray a lot for God to forgive my unknown sins so I'm covered. 😊

The difference between prayer and meditation is this:
  • In meditation, God speaks while man listens.
  • In prayer, man speaks while God listens.
In prayer, God gives us the strength to resist sin. There is evil in the world, then there is goodness, but there is also pure goodness, which is allied with and being in tune with God. If one only adheres to goodness in life and in every act, takes care to assure their acts are always out of goodness, there can be no sin.
