I think of what will be available when all clothes are locally made clothes with all natural materials. If local tailors, seamsters/seamstresses, craftspeople, etc., can't make practical bras, that could be the end of bras. Synthetic fabrics, foam, and elastic will probably disappear from the garment industry in this century.

I actually rarely wear a bra when I'm at home, but I don't like being out in public without one on. The only time that I did that was when I went to the beach and I forgot to bring one to change into after I went out for ice cream afterwards. I just prefer to have one on in public even though I'm pretty sure that people won't know. I'm pretty flat chested anyways.

I would say image is an important factor when in public. Those looking disheveled and/or with their nipples in their knickers might not get the same level of service/attention as someone who made an effort does. Whether on purpose or subconsciously, we all judge books by their cover. Folk are welcome to lounge around their homes just wearing their skid marked underwear, but smarten up a bit in public.

Unless a woman is naturally gifted with having anti-gravity breasts, as women age their chest generally heads South, and men's waist line heads North.
