Quite common in the 40's to 50's. Yeah they do 'stand out.'How common were those back then?
Way more provocative than anything girls wear today

WOW. Can’t really say they were more modest back then
Low necklines weren't quite in vogue yet.WOW. Can’t really say they were more modest back then
Well, I suppose it is a personal choice. I'm not really sure the reason for bras other than modesty. I suppose if you are a C or D cup, you really need one, but they don't seem to prevent sagging since everyone wears one yet older women still sag, and I would assume that was their main purpose for wearing?
Does that make a brassiere an affectation?
In some parts of the world like Europe, people seem much less concerned with bosoms than here in America.
Oh BTW, in every historical instance when a society devolved into debauchery and moral decay, soon after, that civilization collapsed.
The torpedo bullet bra with firing pins.
Wearing a bra causing sagging.
I actually rarely wear a bra when I'm at home, but I don't like being out in public without one on. The only time that I did that was when I went to the beach and I forgot to bring one to change into after I went out for ice cream afterwards. I just prefer to have one on in public even though I'm pretty sure that people won't know. I'm pretty flat chested anyways.
Not according to the women I knowOK, you've got my attention. Why? If I may anticipate, my guess is that wearing a bra weakens the chest muscles which normally support the boob (by using them less) that their loss of tone is what allows the boob to sag.
Amirite?
These days 'man boobs' are a thing.I don't even want to know...
Here's looking at you.

You are speaking of events in ancient times. Things move much faster today, Honey. Back then, it took years to travel a continent, now it is done in minutes or hours. My parents died in the 1990s but if the were back here today, they would not believe events going on. The decay is accelerating along an exponential curve. You mean like Ancient Rome, which devolved into debauchery and decay nearlty 500 years BEFORE the collapse of the Roman Empire. Or England which devolved in debauchery and decay under Henry VIII, and some 400 years later lost their empire.
And it is here to stay so long as we have you democrat leftwing radicalized Muslim-loving socialists around.Debauchery and decay have been going on since there have been humans, you moron.

There was an employee at the American bank on base in Japan while I was there that wore one of those. You knew she was coming around the corner a full two seconds before she rounded the corner.
