Could it backfire on President Trump for him to go against the United States Supreme Court and their ruling against Tik Tok?

Trump on one hand says he respects the Supreme Court's 'Hush Money Ruling.' However, he is failing to respect the Supreme Court's 'Tik Tok Ban' ruling.

The court upheld the law. It's up to the administration to enforce it. If Trump doesn't he really isn't going against the court.

Wouldn't you also say that honestly, Trump is being contradictory in that he speaks of America... American owned, American operated, etc. Now he would be lying about that in keeping Tik Tok in the hands of China?

Trump was for banning TikTok before he was against it. No idea what he is ever thinking. They must have said something nice about him.

I'm pretty sure he wants to use it as leverage in deal making. China is an extremely important supplier of products the USA must have and make little or none of ourselves. Using whatever legitimate tools are at Trump's disposal to persuade the Chinese to be real friends and honorable trading partners is much more in our interest than making bitter enemies of them.

Tik Tok is important enough to the Chinese that it is most likely a good negotiating tool for Trump to use along with the other 'weapons' in his arsenal.

The law allows one 90 day extension, if there is headway in a sale being made. A new offer has apparently been made to buy Tik-Tok, so President Trump can issue a 90-day extension under the law.

Also, that is not going against SCOTUS, all they said as the law applied and was constitutional.

Only democrats fight against the Supreme Court. That's why Schumer got away with organizing a mob to intimidate Court members and why every democrat from FDR to Clinton wanted to expand the number of members on the Court.
