Actually, it is not. The entire city's area is relatively small. NYC is fours times larger and Jacksonville FL is 9 times larger. It's population density made worse by government property is what makes DC have more crime. The people are at opposite ends of the economic spectrum, literally the haves and the have nots.

DC crime rate has gone down and improved the past three years, there is no reason what so ever for trump to over reach with his power locally.

At a quick glance these cities are some that are worse than D.C.

Chicago, Miami, Baltimore, Dallas, L A, Phoenix.....

We have HUGE world and Domestic problems for him to govern.
