All know you lie, Jarlaxle. That is your default position, like your master, (in Cartman's voice), "The little orange bitch."

Biden returned the docs without a fluff, while Trump lied, denied, and cried, before he was MADE to give them up. Answer the right question, sir, not make silly stuff up as an excuse for (in Cartman's voice) "the little orange bitch.

Stop deflecting from xidens theft of classified material and retaining them for 30 years, he also bragged about having them to his biographer. So no he didn't return them as soon as he knew he had them. You can keep lying but the truth is out there.

.

OK Texas is trying to deflect from Trump's calculated theft and defiant, deliberate refusal to return the purloined documents.

We all know, the people that actually care about America, what has happened to the FBI. Even leftists now admit that maybe, just maybe, the FBI went a little too far and got a little too enthusiastic about their 'missions'

We also know how Kash Patel, Trump's nominee for FBI Director, feels about the FBI. He wants to tear it down. And, the morre I think about it, the more angry I get and the more I agree.

Setting our anger with them aside, can the FBI be saved? I'm interested in hearing, reading, thinking people's thoughts on it.
It should be burned down to the ground and then rebuilt.

Which hosts on Fox news do you want running the FBI and why?

What qualifications, other than friend of Trump, does Patel have?
Former federal prosecutor
Served as chief of staff to secretary of defense
Advisor to director of national intelligence
Appointed as senior counsel on counterterrorism for House select committee on intelligence
Senior Director of the counterterrorism directorate at the U.S. National Security Council
Seems pretty qualified.

What?!?!?!?!

You mean the Democratic mouthpieces you count on for "news" did not tell you?

Mr. Patel served as the former Chief of Staff to Acting Secretary of Defense Christopher Miller and is responsible for leading the Secretary’s mission at the Department, including his executive staff and providing counsel to the Secretary on all matters concerning the Department’s operations.

Previously, Mr. Patel served as the Deputy Assistant to the President and Senior Director for Counterterrorism (CT) at the National Security Council (NSC). In that capacity, Mr. Patel oversaw the execution of several of President Donald J. Trump’s top priorities, including eliminating ISIS and Al-Qa’ida leadership such as al-Baghdadi and Qasem al-Rimi, and the safe repatriation of numerous American hostages. Mr. Patel also served as Principal Deputy to the Acting Director of National Intelligence, where he oversaw the operations of all 17 intelligence community agencies and provided the President’s Daily Briefing.

Before joining the NSC, Mr. Patel served as the National Security Advisor and Senior Counsel for the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence (HPSCI), where he spearheaded the investigation into the Russian active measures campaign to influence the 2016 presidential election. Concurrently, he oversaw sensitive programs for the Intelligence Community and U.S. Special Operations Forces and worked to enact legislation to fully fund the multi-billion dollar budgets supporting intelligence and counterterrorism operations worldwide.

Mr. Patel joined the HPSCI following his tenure as a terrorism prosecutor at the Department of Justice (DOJ), where he led investigations spanning multiple theaters of conflict and oversaw the successful prosecution of criminals aligned with Al-Qa’ida, ISIS, and other terror groups. Mr. Patel also served as the DOJ Liaison Officer to Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC), working with our nation’s most prestigious counterterrorism units to conduct collaborative global targeting operations against high value terrorism targets.

OK, you have now reached the point where you will look at a turd, insist it's a diamond, and scream incoherently at anyone pointing out that it stinks.

Thread summary:

Criminals really, really hate law enforcement.

Trump cultists suckle at the anus of corruption. It's specifically why they support their leaders, because of how corrupt they are. The FBI threatens the Trump cult's supply of criminal azzjelly, therefore Trump cultists hate the FBI.

The funny part? They think it's not obvious.

At least wipe that brown stain off your noses, Trump cultists.

I agree whole heartedly, but dismantling one of the premier Law enforcement agencies in the country, really in the world, is a non starter.
Most of the FBI’s responsibilities can and should be handled at city, county and state level. Rebuild a new agency that is apolitical, heavily regulated and supervised by a panel made up of an equal number of senators, representatives and normal citizens drawn by lot from the voter rolls. One third members of the House, one third members of the Senate and one third civilians. One third of each group rotating out every year to keep group allegiances from forming. Keep the FBI Labs as a separate agency also non-political and available to all other levels of law enforcement. We could keep the agents and special agents, but fire everyone above that level. In other words keep the actual law enforcement people and get rid of the careerists.

Wrong. Biden immediately made arrangements for the return of those docs

Trump fought the return for a year and a half

That’s a MAJOR difference
After holding them in several unsecured locations for up to decades.
