We only control the laws here. You wanna have a war with Afghanistan over burkas?the woman there did not choose the Burka.
The Taliban forced them to wear it.
Have you ever asked an Afghani woman about it?if the women in Afghanistan could vote on this topic, there would be no Burka![]()
I have spoken to women wearing burkas----but we did not talk about the burkahave you ever talked to a woman wearing a Burka?
Most likely never
Sure, no matter how goofy your comments arebut we can comment on them
Well, 1/2 of them have the right, anyway. I don't think the woman, buried up to her shoulders, whose skull is being crushed by boulders, has any choice. Or the 18-year-old whose nose and ears were cut off for trying to escape a brutal marriage. What happens to the woman that stands up for her rights and wears a red mini skirt to the market? Its' gotta suck big time, but it is their way, and they have a right to do it.
Numbskulls like the OP would force the woman to wear a mini skirt with the thong hanging out same as the Taliban would do their thing.Well, 1/2 of them have the right, anyway. Most Muslim women who wear it want to do so. It's part of their identity.
Iranian women and girls now face prison terms of up to 15 years and possible death sentences for failing to wear a hijab, through a new strict law on religious dress and behaviour that was due to take effect on Friday.
it's cruel, the women wearing these are in some of the hottest places on earththe Koran does not request the Burka.
And imho this clothing is inhuman
It can actually keep one cool in the summer (so I've been told).it's cruel, the women wearing these are in some of the hottest places on earth
I can only imagine how much they sweat and likely stink
white does but not black which the women are forced to wear.....It can actually keep one cool in the summer (so I've been told).
Not exactly an issue in the US.We don't set Afghanistan's laws
you don't live in my part of the USANot exactly an issue in the US.

Their laws are oppressive and crewel. I don't know anybody who would disagree with that. Fortunately, our laws aren't that severe. They have the right to wear their burka if they choose to do so here. All we control is our country.Well, 1/2 of them have the right, anyway.
