Should public schools be investigated (for political bias) ?

Isn't 'protest' a Constitutional Right?

What is this parents problem?
She even said her child didn't attend.
Protest is a constitutional right. Imposing political protest on schoolkids, no, that's not a right, and it is highly improper.

The parent's problem is what I just said.

Whether her kid attended or not, the school pushed this crap on all the kids, and the parent was 100% correct in getting that kid out of there. I hate to think of what else they've probably done.

Where is this poster to back up his claim?

Was this a PTA event held during the regular school day hours, where class was disrupted and students left classroom instruction to attend this 'during school event'?
Oh man, stop babbling about 1 event. Drag queens have been in schools all over America. During the Biden administration, LGBT lunacy was flying high in classrooms, and millions of outraged parents saw it on computer screens in their kids' bedrooms.
You missed all that, did you ?

Student led during school hours and was part of a nationwide protest.

If/whenever public schools are investigated, and the rot within them is revealed, should they be closed down ? I would say no, but there should be mass firings of all those found to have engaged in political indoctrination, teachers & administrators both.

New people being hired should be scrupulous vetted, to insure an unbiased crew is coming in.

IDK that the protests were 'imposed' on the kids by the schools. It was a nationwide call to protest by adults from work and students from schools of 'organizers'. But all the schools just stood by or even participated with students. And as always, the schools probably didn't notify the parents so they could decide what's good for the kids

Here' some worthwhile facts to observe occuring right here in my own hometown (Tampa, Florida) >>

In the last 20 years the number of children learning at home has tripled.

"From 2017 to 2022, Florida’s homeschool population grew nearly 70 times faster than the state’s public school enrollment and was among the highest rates in the nation, according to an analysis in The Washington Post.

"Tampa Bay is now a haven for homeschoolers. Nearly 11,000 homeschool students live in Hillsborough alone — more than any other school district in Florida.

Now go wash your mouth out with soap.

Wrong
It was a PTA event starting at 6pm

Then how the hell did the MOM take her daughter out of the school DURING the protests, with the school doors open and the office filled with staff???????? That showed in the video I posted earlier.

THEN all the links I provided for other schools around the country doing the same damn thing. Oh and don't forget that it's dark at 6pm for Daylight Savings Time and every picture in any of the links provided are during DAYLIGHT hours.

If you'd get your head out of your ass once in a while you'd know that

Of course the schools didn't notify the parents. They would never do that. They do these things on the sly, behind parents' backs.

He can't get his head out of his ass. He's a leftist loon, permanently DUPED by public school propaganda.

Of course the parents should have also known about the calls to protest and discussed it with their kids beforehand or kept them home in the first place, instead of just assuming the school would do the right thing......when we all know they don't anymore.

My answer is a resounding YES. Public schools all across America have become more than places to learn reading, writing, & arithmetic.
They are (and have been for decades) leftwing indoctrination factories. I went through public schools from 1st grade to a college bachelor's degree, and found them to be exactly that way. A semester of graduate school at a state university wasn't much better.

Interesting how it took me decades to unravel myself from all of this indoctrination, and begin to see things clearly. In 1988, I recall my 2 kids saying that they like Michael Dukakis for president over George Bush. Back then, in the classrooms they got teachers advocating for Dukakis. I even went to the polls & voted for Dukakis, all without any of us ever hearing one word about Willie Horton.

The difference was stark, but many people never got the message.
Bush supported the death penalty for first-degree murder, and Dukakis not only opposed the death penalty, but also allowed first-degree murderers to have weekend passes from prison. Willie Horton murdered a boy in a robbery, stabbing him nineteen times. Despite the life sentence, Horton received ten weekend passes from prison. Horton fled, kidnapping a young couple, stabbing the man and repeatedly raping his girlfriend.

So is the situation in public schools any better now than it was in the 1980s ? I think not. It might even be worse, with all the TDS and crazy woke ideologies floating around.

Maybe the answer is homeschooling. Get the kids away from the indoctrinators and teach them yourselves. Millions of people are going that route nowadays.
And I wonder if these schools ought possibly be defunded.

With the advent of the table top computer the public school system has become obsolete. Shuttering these relics of the past would save taxpayers BILLION$. I do support retaining the gymnasiums for community entertainment centers. The school structures could be modified for apartments, commercial offices, medical/rehab center etc. As for the lefty so called educators, getting them out of teaching education is of paramount importance regarding the future of our America.

There is nothing to really investigate here.

The proof is in the pudding as to just how Left wing Academia is.

Look at any peer reviewed journal article on the subject and they will all admit a Left-wing bias all through academia, although some of them try to argue that it is no big deal

Or look at all the school organized protests by students. The only ones I have seen are ones to protest guns, climate change, George Floyd, or recently the shooting of Good with her little run in with law enforcement in her car. Could you even imagine kids in public school protesting abortion or being manipulated into changing their sex or protesting the shooting of the unarmed women at the Capital on 1/6? All hell would break loose if they did with demands of a separation of church and state and endless references to Nazis.

And I have my own experiences, back when academia was not as bad as it is today, and I can tell you that the only biases I heard were from the Left.

So, the only question is, what do we do about it?

I always became physically ill when I saw Gretta Thornburg up their crying before the UN as she cried her eyes out saying she had no future and that she should really be in school getting an education, but since she has no future due to global warming, she may as well skip and come there and cry about climate change, over, and over, and over again. That my friend is what you call child abuse.

It reminds me of a lad I read about in school who was told he had two options, he could either protest guns or go to study hall, but he said that he had come for science class because it was time for science class. So, he arrived in his science class alone, and the teachers berated him demanding he either go to study hall or protest. He refuse, and he was severely disciplined for it.

No, school time is for school time and not Left in indoctrination, but the Left has no concerns about the youth getting a good education in the US because they want to destroy the US. Instead of competing globally on an economic level with despotic regimes like communist China and Russia, kids today are too busy trying to decide what gender they are and why they are either a victim or victimizer based on the color of their collective skin.

And guess what, it does not matter if you are in a blue or red state, the students can and all will sing, "Gas the Jews" at any University in your state because the Left owns them, and with no repercussions. however, verbally threaten gays or blacks or trans and you will be expelled immediately.

Left wing education is akin to the Nazi youth, and just like the Nazi youth they are being trained to hate Jews.

Right wing nuts with no education want to weigh in on education? This guy's research is that his kids went to school in the 80's. What an intellectual. Please share your worldly knowledge with us. Just put it in badlands where it belongs. There is no link, no backup, just this old mans rant.

It would be a complete waste of time and money on a national scale. We have an extremely diverse nation. You'd probably find "indoctrination" in small pockets, but not in most schools.

For goodness sake, every teacher in small town Kansas probably comes from the very district in which they teach. Do you imagine they're importing Blue City Liberals to teach in....Kansas?
