Genocide is a war crime.

So stop genociding this board.

Genocide is Israel seeking to destroy a group and carrying out acts of genocide, as defined by the international legal definition of genocide.

Israel needs to stop the genocide, stop the pogrom in Gaza, stop targeting children and women and innocent civilians.

Just a theory.
What would happen if Israel WON'T stop that so called genocide?

Over 1000 killed by Israel, over 80% unlawfully targeted civilians, over 200 children slaughtered, over 1300 children injured, collective punishment, indiscriminate targeting of civilians, unlawful bombings of hospitals and UNRWA schools, unlawful attacks on ambulances, unlawful attacks on homes, using women and children as human shields, disproportionate attacks on civilians, deliberate targeting of civilians.
Hamas fired rockets last night at southern Israel. This was during the extension of a cease-fire. Defensive fire?

I'm surprised it even lasted the original 12 hours. Israel wanted a 4 hour extension while supplies to the refugees were going out to the Gazan people.

And now, this morning, Hamas wants a temporary cease-fire, in order to prepare for a religious holiday...

After violating the previous 12-24 hour truce scores of times, with rocket fire, etc...

After Israel resumed ground, air and naval operations against Hamas, due to those violations...

Hamas has its back up against the wall...

Stupidly, they violate the latest Humanitarian Truce, time and again...

Until Israel finally throws up its hands and says 'phukk it', and resumes operations...

And now, even more stupidly, they expect the Israelis to accede to another cease-fire, because Hamas wants it, rather than Israel...

The Israeli Prime Minister is getting a lot of political heat, internally, and from his own cabinet, to press the thing with Hamas, and to finish the job...

Those applying such pressure are probably right, this time...

It will be interesting to see whether Israel chooses to grant such a truce to Hamas, in connection with their upcoming religious holiday, or whether they will press the thing...

Either way, the choice belongs to Israel now, and Hamas is going to have to deal with whatever the Isrealis decide...

That's called 'holding the high ground', or 'holding the initiative'...

Well played, Israel... well played.

"There ain't no holiday in war"!

Hamas announced Sunday that it has agreed to a 24-hour holiday truce in Gaza, hours after Israel resumed its ground offensive and airstrikes against the militant group for firing a salvo of rockets at the southern part of the country.

The truce began at 7 a.m. ET. Hamas hit back at Israel earlier in the day during a previous 24-hour cease-fire window.

The three-day Eid al-Fitr holiday, which caps the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan, is expected to begin Monday or Tuesday, depending on the sighting of the new moon.

Lt. Col. Peter Lerner, an Israeli army spokesman, did not say if Israel would hold its fire during the time requested by Hamas, but said troops would continue demolishing Hamas military tunnels.

Finish the job Israel or those murdered by Hamas in the IDF will have died in vane.

That was no answer to my question.

I ask again.

Let's say Israel lifts the siege. Will the first hint of any attempt to KILL JEWS from the Gaza strip- be answered by a massive Israeli retaliation on the sources of trouble- be accepted by you?
You don't answer my questions, I don't answer yours.

That's how it goes, bitch!

You shoot a missile at Gaza, you get a rocket in return.

You don't won't rockets, stop shooting missiles.

Your the cause of all the problems.

Yawn...

Hamas will never surrender. They must be exterminated
Unless you commit genocide, you are correct. So is that what you are suggesting?

Genocide of a people it is then?

You will suffer the same fate as the Germans.

How truly pointless, even by your standards of pointless.

Anyone paying the slightest bit of attention to geopolitics in the islamist Middle East can understand that the plight of the arab/islamist world has everything to do with Arab/islamist intransigence, an utter inability to compromise and make peace with the out-group, blind and unthinking allegiance to a politico-religious ideology that has never managed to claw its way out of the 7th century; all of which finds itÂ’s focal point at an ancient text delineating the above.

It's a little hard to make peace with an "out-group", that is constantly bombing the shit out of you.
