Most adults in the criminal system shouldn't be tried as adults.

They clearly don't have the mental or emotional capability of adults.

And it isn't really about that... it is about a culture, system that placates anything a kid wants/desires. At the same time tell them the world is evil, the country they live in is overall bad. Bad how it started, bad early and bad now. Remove the flags, ban pledge of allegiance. Send home kids who wear shirts showing pride in their nation.

Normally not, but I also think some "thought" should be put into the circumstances surrounding the killings before deciding.

In other words, I think the courts or some other entity should have some discretion in the matter, it shouldn't be automatic, in neither direction.

I think it depends on the nature of the crime. I'd vote yes for premeditated murder like the most recent school shooter. Maybe not if he was caught shoplifting or smoking dope or vandalizing his school.

A young minor who commits a first time premeditated massacre as opposed to a first time act of vandalism of petty theft, should be treated as a heinous murderer, whereas an underaged vandal or petty thief should face some kind of punishment as consequence of acts. Imo, there is a vast difference.
