What past? Frankly, the past of the People's Republic is one of restraint. They didn't march into Hong Kong and Macao, they waited for the treaties to expire. (Macao could have been a really easy one, as Portugal was dumping her colonies in the 1970s like they were having a fire sale.) Their last war was against Vietnam in 1979, and that was one of immense restraint. Once they realized they weren't going to be able to save Kampuchea, they went home. Ah, if only Trump showed that much good sense.

We live in an unequal world, and I realize that if you are a white, straight, cisgender male, you have massive amounts of privilege in this society. Now, if there were tons of cisgendered males pretending to be transgender to mess with the ladies, I would probably take a second look. But let's get real here. According to the NCAA, there are only 10 transgender athletes participating out of 50,000. This is not a crisis, except for the sexually insecure.
