This needs to be tried in a federal court. It was a crime. Trump aided in the crime. No one should be able to do what was done and just be allowed to walk. Fuck you republicans because you all suppported trumps attempts to investigate and imprison private citizens for nothing but a lie. So nobody wants to hear chirping from the clown car.
Shut up.

He gave a speech that leftist pieces of human shit like you didn't like. As a result, a relatively small group of uber-right-wing fanatics decided to storm the Capitol.

If it should be tried in a federal court, let's see you offer an unqualified denouncement of the impeachment. Otherwise, you're just another hypocritical negro...

Nevertheless, he wasn't charged with any such crime. That's because he did no such thing. There isn't a shred of evidence that he did
It's completely true. The people in charge know this and only the trolls with monkey-like I.Q.s are still
arguing this point as if it's valid or useful.

Nan Pelosi is still fishing around in the toilet trying to pull a jewel out of the bowl somehow because they
want to try and salvage something out of this whole debacle in some way.
But she won't be able to impeach someone not under her jurisdiction. It's absurd and a farce.

Why isn't "Unity" Joe Biden stepping up? Less than a week in his ill gotten office and people already know
what a simpering fool he is, as most did before.

Great. But Trump did not resign his presidency. His term of office is officially over!
Congress holds no power over him now.
That just incentivized presidents to abuse their office just before leaving.

If impeachment can bar people from holding future office, it stands to reason they can be impeached after leaving.
No, it doesn't.

Congress has very limited, specific enumerated powers. Trying a private citizen is not included.
Being able to avoid consequences of your official actions by resigning or finishing your term is clearly not what the framers had in mind. It makes no sense.
Another TDS afflicted libnut mind reader.

Prove he was pushed off of a building.
He was hit in the head with a fire extinguisher and suffered a stroke.

Do the math.
These dopey mother-fuckers failed to see the big picture and will have the stench of felony convictions wrapped around their necks forever. Try getting a job.
Perhaps they assumed they would get the same treatment as the Antifa and BLM rioters in Portland and Seattle.
They thought, they were doing this, for the President. They thought, president Trump called them, to do such....therefore....They thought, made it legal and okay.

That's why they were ALL taking selfies and other incriminating pictures and video, and then posting them on social media....
So you think impeachment should be based on the perceived mind reading abilities of a single digit IQ leftist hack on the innerwebs?

Show me in the Constitution where it says that?
This is precisely the situation the founders created Impeachment for....
So you can't show me where in the Constitution it says you can impeach over perceived thoughts base on the ability to read minds by a single digit IQ libnut hack.

Your boys during Trump's inauguration American hater.
Anarchists aren’t anyone’s boys. You are just desperate now.
There was no outrage over on your side when it happens to a Republican. Only silence, and in fact Harris raised funds for bail for the democrat scumbags over the summer. That should get her impeached.
No, Harris didn't. You scumbags are trying to treat a legitimate protest over murders of unarmed citizens that actually happened to an insurrection because of something that didn't. There is no equivalence.
1 day of rioting incited and engaged in by Antifa and BLM, the 1st Trump even in hundreds, with millions attending those events combined, in which violence occurred...but it was just another day of violence for Antifa and BLM.

The destruction caused by these foreign-funded Democrat-supported domestic terrorist has cost our communities hundreds of BILLIONS of dollars...

...and unlike the Capitol event, it continues...just as Harris said it would...just as she called for it to continue.

"IT SHOULD NOT STOP. WE SHOULD NOT STOP!'

IMPEACH HER ASS!
Not that accuracy matters to you...but supporting PROTESTS is far different from supporting riots.

You hate both in the case of the events of the summer and SUPPORT both in the case of the Capitol Insurrection
There were more riots than protest, the reason the media ignored it.

Former President Donald Trump can be convicted in an impeachment trial for his role in inciting the Capitol insurrection on Jan. 6 even though he is no longer in office, a bipartisan group of constitutional law scholars wrote in a letter Thursday.

They're just like the illegal aliens breaking into our country to have a better life. Wrong is wrong no matter what fucked up reasons you claim to have. Lawbreakers pay their own price. If one of those caravan dudes that Biden has invited to come here end up killing a border patrol guard, I doubt if you will suggest charging Biden with murder and impeaching him even though he would bear more responsibility for that than Trump ever could for what happened at the capital.

Donald Trump has already ensured he will never be elected to national office again. Many who watched his conduct after the election, who don't believe Biden stole the election, were disgusted by his antics. He can't win without those people, and the reality is that plenty of people who voted for him simply will not do so in the future. I know. I'm one of those people, and I know many more.

So, considering that, what's the goal of this impeachment? To remove him from office? Well, he's already gone, so it can't be that. The only real thing left is to embarrass him, and that would be childish, petty and stupid...

And here we have someone else who claims they-and only they-know which are protests and which are riots. Seems to me violence, arson, looting and violation of the law=riot. Legal and peaceful protest=protest.
Blocking streets isn't peaceful protesting, even if you're just standing in the sreet.

They have zero constitutional power or right to do so
Trying T on fake charges is only a “ Soviet show trial “
I beg to differ. The reason is that it has happened before. Impeachment After Leaving Office - Law & Liberty .

Consider first the impeachment of Texas Governor James E. Ferguson in 1917. Ferguson resigned the governorship prior to his conviction by the Senate, so he was not a sitting governor when the Texas Senate convicted him in its impeachment trial. He subsequently sought to run again for governor in 1924. The Texas Supreme Court held that Ferguson’s impeachment actually occurred despite the fact that Ferguson had resigned his office prior to his conviction by the Senate.
The federal government isn't governed by the Constitution of Texas, dumbass.
You are right.
This is the Texas constitution.
Article XV: Impeachment - Constitution of the State of Texas (1876) (utexas.edu)
This is the US constitution.
Constitution Annotated | Congress.gov | Library of Congress
Since you feel I'm a dumbass, you will naturally be able to point out the difference in the text that would allow Texas to have an impeachment trial for somebody out of office but not the federal government?

Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff are the people who should be impeached for blatantly abusing their offices,
wasting money, time and bringing disrepute upon the Senate of the USA for this impeachment sham.

When will the democrats show some sense and common decency and end this farce?
Again. That question has been raised before and has been rejected.

You mean a gang of Democrat hacks wrote that. I have seen no evidence that they are "bipartisan." Most of the people who signed the document have nothing to do with the Federalist Society. For the ones that do, it isn't clear that they are "scholars" or just lawyers on the payroll. I suspect the later.

Wrong, NAZI. Nothing they thought makes it a crime. Only actions constitute crime. This isn't 1984 just yet. Although it's getting close.
Wrong.

INCITING a riot or inciting an attempted coup or insurrection, does not require physical action, on the part of the inciter.

You sure know how to twist and turn, yes? Anything that lawmakers do that
results in death could be chargeable to them, right? George Bush went into Iraq on false pretenses. Should he be arrested for the death of Americans? Smooth move, eggslacks.

Because anarchists are a tiny fringe group that have existed for decades and are promptly dealt with by law enforcement.

They torched a limo of the bourgeois. How much rage would be appropriate?
They were trying to disrupt a presidential inauguration.

Link us up to Trump inciting insurrection.

Post his exact words.
