That the state has the right to ban weapons at a state level...

Now let me explain this and in another election year to attempt to even pass another Assault Weapon Ban on the National Stage is political suicide and even Nancy Pelosi stated it will not be debated in the House or introduced by her.

The SCOTUS passed the buck because its a political hot topic. Politics should not even be a consideration when its the Constitution. Shall not be infringed trumps State laws. If States believe differently call for a Constitutional Convention.

I don't think they want to take up any case knowing it'd be a 4-4 split. McConnell blew it when he passed on a gun friendly prochoice republican.
