School kicks out students because their parents criticized Critical Race Theory

"However, any parent who waged a public campaign of false and misleading statements and inflammatory attacks harmful to the employees, the reputation, or the financial stability of Columbus Academy would be in clear violation of the Enrollment Agreement and would be denied re-enrollment for the following school year," the spokesperson said.

I bet they skimmed over that part before signing...

My youngest kid knows all about it but he didn't learn about how the human race acts at school only.

As long as the appropriate amount of tuition money is refunded, I don't have a problem with it. The two moms are against CRT being taught, but the school is going to teach students CRT anyway. Solution: Send the kids to a school that doesn't teach CRT.

Anybody know what it is specifically the school is teaching that these parents are calling CRT?

Firstly, were those kids expelled, or were they merely denied re-enrollment after months of anti-CRT activism? Why the **** would you try to re-enroll your kids in that school, knowing as those parents did what the school was trying to teach? To me, they're using their kids as political devices to gain attention for their political agenda, namely to oppose teaching CRT. I don't like the idea of CRT being taught in our schools either, but it's like those moms are publicizing their pov and using their own kids to do it. Not cool IMHO.

Private school expels children of moms, who advocate against critical race theory in school

Two Ohio mothers spoke out Wednesday morning after their children were expelled from a private school due to the mothers pushing back against critical race theory.

Columbus Academy is denying re-enrollment to several students, alleging that their mothers breached part of their contract by leading a public campaign against the school's purported attempt to "indoctrinate" students with left-wing ideas.

In other words these mothers exposed the school pushing CRT to the public, creating an unwanted uncomfortable position for the school in having to defend their desire to teach CRT.

At this point freedom and capitalism should take care of this problem, as every parent with kids at this school should rally together and pull all of their kids out of that school. With no kids and no funding there would be a very quick 180 degree shift in policy / decision at this school.

Is the school even teaching CRT? Funny how that isn't said at all.

Where does it say the school is even teaching CRT? Link that for us, please.

It looks a great school for INDOCTRINATING YOUNG COMMIES .

What difference does it make? The parents broke the rules and their kid's were expelled and the school being private can do as they want.

Curiosity and the devil is in the details. Were they using certain terms that the parents associated with the theory. Is there book they were using. All we hear is "Look at this CRT fight" with very little context. But that's our media for ya!

Some of the curriculum and school teachings that the parents took issue with pictured above. Gross and Gonzalez founded the Pro-CA Coalition, campaigning against what they say is 'political extremism and a culture of fear and administration' at the school

CRT is a radical agenda ho has no common sens ans is abasent realiy;
Getover yourselves and join the new world ,espeicalty fatcs.Or destroty the best hting that EVER happened o you.

Ben Carson ,Denzell Wasginigton rose above the Bs ,as did Thomas Sowell and many ohers.
Or keep it up and learn the hard way.

A question that was asked, is because people read headlines, and not stories.
From the story: Columbus Academy sent a letter to parents Andrea Gross and Amy Gonzalez informing them that their children will not be reenrolled at the school, where tuition fees cost up to $30,000 a year.

They were not technically "expelled", so there is no refund involved.

Not even safe at an elitist school. What is a wingnut Q-anon soccermom with too much time on her hands supposed to do?

Moonglow did the contract state critical race theory would be taught? Cause, without that, they do.
