Apart from all the dysfunction.
Not an issue with the constitution.
You can't write something to get around the stupidity, greed and arrogance of today's congress.

Apart from all the dysfunction.
So is Joe BidenThe U.S. Constitution is a dinosaur!
First step I'd say. Your present one has you screwed by minority governments. It's dysfunctional.Writing a new constitution won't fix that.Apart from all the dysfunction.

Proportional representation, independent electoral commissions, independent electoral district creators, elections taken out of states' hands. Not an issue with the constitution.

Seems to actually work, most other places. What's the solution, getting screwed by majority governments?

One where votes in legislatures don't reflect the will of the majority/plurality of the vote. What is a "minority government"?
Why is it screwing us?
One where votes in legislatures don't reflect the will of the majority/plurality of the vote.
Of course 'screwed' is a matter of interpretation. If one likes being held captive by political parties then 'screwed' has more of the value of 'royally fucked'.
Can you think of any? Any at all? Or are you happy being royally fucked? One where votes in legislatures don't reflect the will of the majority/plurality of the vote
Where don't they do that? Any specifics?
Or rebel! This is just more of the same. The people who work at CNN and report their skewed information have been trained in the ways of Critical Theory (Marx), and you'll note they allow those who are true believers to speak freely while they gang up on those who push back.
In a sense, they are correct. The Constitution guarantees us a "Republic," not a democracy.
Their beef with it is that they cannot move to corrupt and change it as fast as they want. This slow roll doesn't permit them to yank the wool down over the citizen's eyes in one fell swoop.
Too often, the citizens are smart enough to see through their game and stop them.
Sadly, that will change soon.
They already own the means of information dissemination.
They already own the means of education.
They already own the financing of the means of production.
Soon, they will own the means of production
Soon, they will own the Judiciary.
When that last institution falls, you, me, and the rest of the country will have no recourse but to obey.
They don't even follow it, dumbass.First step I'd say. Your present one has you screwed by minority governments. It's dysfunctional.

Yes.I can't, can you?
I know. It's like showing a horseless carriage to a dude in a buggy whip factory. He'll never believe it.Please don't make me laugh that hard again.
