There’s been a lot bandied about regarding how scary Donald Trump is as a presidential candidate. A lot of that fear is manufactured by the Democratic Party in the form of millions spent on attack ads but the real fear is the same as it’s always been- fear of the unknown. Trump is not a politician so he is essentially flying by the seat of his pants. Trump got to where he is for two very important reasons-the failure of the Republican Party to offer a candidate that could even come close to identifying with the middle class and the fact that Hillary Clinton is the worst candidate in decades to represent the Democratic Party.

The Democrats are fond of saying that educated people will never vote for Trump. This is meant to imply that only the ignorant who cling to their guns and religion will line up behind him. It’s doubtful that the majority of the plumbers, welders, electricians, machinists, auto mechanics and truckers in our society are following Trump because he’s the antichrist but as absurd as it sounds, this is what the Democrats are asking us to believe. They have to push this narrative because their candidate, Hillary Clinton, is scary to so many people including many who are very well educated.

First we must consider that Bill and Hillary Clinton are two of the shadiest human beings ever to hold public office. Bill Clinton was actually impeached by the House of Representatives in 1996 and Hillary stood by her man as it was her job to attack and intimidate his victims as he lied under oath. Hillary is no paragon of women’s rights and only a fool would think so.

We might also want to contemplate why there is a big push across the country to allow convicted felons to vote. It’s doubtful that many ex-cons would vote for Republicans and in a close, swing-state election released rapists and thieves could put Hillary over the top. One wonders how many college-educated Democrats are proud of this state of affairs. There may be a paradigm here where hero worship is in play because Hillary Clinton is quickly becoming what could be seen as a criminal’s criminal. A criminal’s criminal could be defined as a criminal so diabolically clever that he or she has gained control of the system that judges the crimes.

Americans witnessed a possible example of this when James Comey, the head of the FBI stood before the country like a neutered dog and delivered a comically ambiguous email finding that left more questions than answers. The Department of Justice is owned by the Democrats and the FBI is owned by the Department of Justice. You see how it works? The voters are going to have to decide if this is acceptable or if this is how a master criminal commits a master crime. It doesn’t stop there. There’s this thing with the Clinton Foundation. The educated surely know what a Quid pro quo is. The voters are going to have to determine if Clinton used her position as a head of state like a cash register to personally enrich herself and her husband at the expense of the national security of the United States. Most reasonable people know that Hillary Clinton violated security protocol to cover her tracks and protect her backside because she apparently believes that national security laws are for everyone else not for her. She is a practiced liar but her lies may have caught up with her this time. She may have to get into the White House to keep herself out of jail. One can predict that if she fails in the election and is finally prosecuted she will probably use human frailty as a defense or as a last resort Obama will just pardon her.

Yes, Trump is scary because no one knows what he will do but Hillary Clinton is a lot scarier because everyone knows what she has already done.

This election is about Hillary. Always has been. She is pretty much the only person running. Everyone else is going to have to fight the media, Congress, and the people who aren't paying attention enough to even know who Joe Biden is.

Excellent post BTW.

Trump is not unknown. He has been clear about what he wants to do. It's all mostly impossible, and harmful to our country to even try all that crap, and he doesn't have any plans to accomplish any of it, anyway, but he has been clear about what he wants to do.

Has Hillary ever heard of a reason to kill she hasn't liked?

While a little long and rambling, I overall agree with your point. It's funny to see how many people demand change and then here's an obvious outsider candidate going up against an obvious insider candidate, and even as a Trump supporter it seems like Hillary is going to win.

Go to RCP and look closely at the last two weeks or so. Even with Trump going off message from time to time Hillary has been losing altitude lately. She would have lost anyway in a hurry from Nov. 1st when ACA enrollment starts and Nov. 8th but without a bang up debate performance the race may be effectively Trump's to lose by Oct, 1

The Donald is scary because he's an egomaniacal loose cannon.

Hillary is scary because she is a pandering conniver with absolutely no principles.

Gary Johnson may not SEEM scary, but do we really want a commander in chief who has never heard of Alleppo? Seems pretty fucking scary to me.

Two things that should scare you:

One is that we know what Duh Donuld has done. We know he lies, cheats and steals and we know that's pretty much all he does.

We also know that, besides Bill Clinton, Hillary is the most lied about person in politics. They RWNJs traitors have been "investigating" the Clinton's for 30+ years and have never found any proof they have ever broken the law and, IN FACT, have done enormous good. And, like it or not, that includes jobs and a budget surplus.

More to the point is Pence's record of basic rights abuses and Donuld's saying he would not serve but would leave running the country to Pence while he was out "making American great again".

The real danger of Drumpf is not just that he would actually start WWIII over a "gesture" or a tweet. Its that he/Pence would rubber stamp the worst the GOP wants.

IOW, kiss your basic rights goodbye and say hello to permanent wars and depression. What is left of the middle class would be in the permanent employ of the 1%.

Johnson is a cipher. Really. He offers nothing. A vote for him is a vote for a fascist dictator humping Pooting's leg for the next 4 years and generations of ruin for the US.

So who's that leave to vote for, bernie? He might get quite a few write in votes.

Hillary is certainly scary. Trump isn't the least bit 'scary' despite all the hysterical lying and spin; he's actually a moderate policy wise, always has been. I prefer to vote for a liberal, a real one, but those no longer exist in the Democratic Party in any meaningful positions, so the only option this time is a moderate running on the GOP ticket who is at least a patriot, unlike a Democratic Party that openly hates this country and actively promotes that hatred and violence and if it wins this country is finished.

Yes, Trump is scary because no one knows what he will do but Hillary Clinton is a lot scarier because everyone knows what she has already done.

Trump isn't scary at all, that's just hype. He's a deal maker and will work with both Parties, and he will be tougher in foreign policy and dealing with foreign governments, which is what is needed.

Relax. Things aren't too bad with Obama, and getting better all the time. The trend will continue with Hillary.

The scary thing about Hillary is that she will keep doing the things she has done in the past. By that measure, there is nothing scary about Trump.

To me; there is no choice. HRC is the best qualified candidate to seek the office of Presidency since Bush Sr. in 1988. And, coincidentally, the GOP has nominated a man with no experience at any level of government be their candidate.

Its comical to think that there are some adults who favor the least experienced and least qualified.

Yeah....she's experienced alright. You poor deluded shill

Hillary Clinton Sponsored Secretive Arab Spring Program that Destabilized Middle East

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The U.S. State Department under the leadership of Secretary Hillary Clinton continued a program to embolden foreign, revolutionary, social media activists to agitate for regime change in various parts of the world. The program arguably had major, detrimental consequences for the trajectory of the Middle East.

Recent leaks show a memo that top Clinton aide Huma Abedin sent to her boss stating, “I’m giving you credit for inspiring the ‘peaceful’ protests,” with regard to Egypt, with quotation marks around the word “peaceful.”

So much this /\/\/\ Bottom line, a huge percentage of Americans (and a lot of women) simply react with revulsion to the idea of a strong woman in power, and so Hillary has had a lot to overcome. Her weaknesses have been magnified and overblown, her strengths glossed over as craven pandering. In fact, she's been trying to do right for the least fortunate for decades, and did not expect to get rich doing it.
