Saying Jan 6 was an "Insurrection" is Bad Grammar

Facts are facts, with evidence of those facts... y'all have none... The 1/6 investigation has plenty...

It's why the republicans did not want a 911 independent investigation and why the Republicans didn't want the House investigation to happen

And why the Rs have worked so hard to bash and demean Cheney and Kinzinger and remove them from the RNC.
What are you blabbing about?
You still haven't figured out that Democrats and Republicans wanted us to go into Afghanistan and Iraq.
Then the Dims used Iraq to attack Bush.....even though they all voted for him to go in.
Eventually they used Katrina to bring Bush down. "Bush doesn't care about black people!!"

The whole mess is centered in the UN.
They are working with the UN to fleece America of most of it's wealth....and taking kick-backs from the theft.
It's just a big push toward Socialism and a one government world order.

As someone else recently said: At first it was a perfectly fine protest. But then part of it became violent and illegal. But by illegal, what is true is things like trespass, criminal mischief and assaults. The crimes committed deserve to be prosecuted. No doubt. But no part of the crimes involved anything involving “insurrection.”

The Cambridge Dictionary defines “insurrection” as: “an organized attempt by a group of people to defeat their government and take control of their country, usually by violence”

And the Merriam Webster Dictionairy defines insurrection as this:

Full Definition of insurrection

: an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government

It was an attempted insurrection, or an attempted self coup by president Trump and his minions.... Most rioters were not fully aware of the defeated presidents and coconspirator's plans....they were simply tools used by them....

In that sense the rioters were for the most part, not insurrectionists, imo.

There was violence btw... over 140 Capitol and DC police were injured by the rioters who savagely beat them.

And the Merriam Webster Dictionairy defines insurrection as this:

Full Definition of insurrection

an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government

So Rosa Parks was an insurrectionist. Is that your position?

Was the bus driver the ruling govt?

What are you, some kind of fucking idiot?
YOUR definition was "an act or instance of revolting against civil authority or an established government", and Rosa Parks broke the law and engaged in civil disobedience.

So to you, Rosa Parks was an insurrectionist.

You are a fucktard moron. There was no insurrection. These are word games played by your Marxist gods to smear Trump and the Right, and you are a goose stepping POS who is falling right in line with their propaganda.

And thats a fact. Now fuck off asshat.

That's what its all about, souring the population in general on Republicans and Trump in particular. Its all word games, using words that resonate negatively with people.

THAT is precisely what Trump and ilk has done....make his followers believe democrats have STOLEN an election from him, without factual evidence of such...just words...and LYING words at that..you all fell for it, through the 30 years of right wing hate radio and media, training you to hate democrats, mostly through their lies.

..

Do not care what name you put on Jan 6, it was bad behavior, not the American way to air our grievances in the 21 century.

I understand your point, and generally I agree. But the reason that the word that is used matters in because it carries legal implications, and it also carries propaganda implications. This is the core of fake news and propaganda: Words.

Take abortion: "Pro Choice" vs. "Infanticide."
How about "Immigrant" vs. "Illegal Alien."
"Freedom Fighter" or "Terrorist."
Words carry weight and they sway opinion.

He operates in pure chaos, he's done that to his party, and they've done it to the country.

America can't survive if we don't believe in our basic institutions, and that is clearly their goal.

"Exceptional" no more.

This statement has been proven true

The Cambridge Dictionary defines “insurrection” as: “an organized attempt by a group of people to defeat their government and take control of their country, usually by violence” By that definition, there was no “insurrection” at the United States Capitol on Jan. 6,

It is not only bad grammar, it defies credulity. How exactly is this "take control of" the country accomplished? For that to happen, the military and the Supreme Court and the governors of the states and the White House and the FBI and the CIA and the NSA and all other agencies and law enforcement agencies would have to bow down to a group of guys who entered the Capitol. Because unless that happens, no overthrow is even possible, let alone intended.

That is the insanity of such a statement. The only way to see the capitol protest as a threat is to assume that the military and the Supreme Court and the governors of the states and the White House and the FBI and the CIA and the NSA, etc. etc. are all going to start obeying them.

But of course,, they are not.

America is not some banana Republic were you can occupy the palace of Il Presidente and rule the country. A physical overthrow of America is not even possible. Thats why all the crying about it being the worst day ever is not believable.

There was no way they were going to overthrow the government of the United States. It was a riot. It was a dangerous riot. It should have never happened, and it should never happen again, but people should not be misled to think that the protestors were on the verge of overthrowing the government.

Orwellian misuse of language is a propaganda tool
