Sandy Hook: Some Thoughts

While I can sort of see your point, on account of what happened, you couldn't just let him get away without any repercussions.

I don't think anyone in the thread has actually said its fake. Save your knee jerk reactions for something else.
OK so pick a REASONABLE AMOUNT for the families mental suffering. A million each should more than cover the costs for counseling, anxiety drugs and security. NOT $75 Million dollars each.

Jury found it just. Your opinion matters not.
You keep dodging the core issue, which is typical of Leftists. We either have a BLIND and FAIR justice system or we don't. There is nothing BLIND nor FAIR about $1.5 BILLION DOLLAR jury awards. That is purely about over-emotional unfair vengeance.

The amount was intended to prevent him or others from doing the same crap in the future. A smaller amount would have just been an inconvenience.

Yes, that's because people who believe it's a hoax argue that people involved are crisis actors. I wanted to address that argument. God damn, dude. You are such an NPC. You saw the phrase, "crisis actors" and it immediately triggered a "cover your ears and close your eyes" response to the point that you didn't even see what the substance of the text was.
You are cray cray, bro.

Some of these people literally had to move to new addresses and start new lives. While $75 million may be a bit much, a million is peanuts.

While I don’t like what Alex Jones said, and I believe his commentary was likely hurtful to already mournful parents and relatives, it is absolutely ridiculous that this award of damages is tolerated by judges.

Same is true for what was awarded to the plaintiffs in the Rudy civil case.

To permit such damages awards to stand is a fertilization of judicial duty.

I dunno anything about the Rudy case so I won't comment. But from my understanding, the people in the Jones case didn't just get hurt emotionally, they suffered damages to their livelihoods and property.

Doubtful.

But even if they had, that award is simply outrageous.

Anybody who believes the Sandy Hook hoax is cray cray.
Right, but if you'd take a second to read my post instead of just making a knee jerk reaction, you'd see that I don't think it's a fake, and that I think that the official story generally makes more sense.
