I agree, and most of what they make IS on the backs of others and not on theirs. The problem Sanders is addressing is that trillions went into the pockets of the 1% during and after the financial crisis/mortgage meltdown. And there it sits because there's only so much money a 1%-er can spend. Only so many yachts, haircuts, clothes, cars and resorts they can buy. They're not reinvesting it into the country via new ventures or expansion. There just doing like Romney and stuffing it offshore.

Yes, there is no way a politician is going to vote away a system which enables him to be re-elected 98 percent of the time.

That is not an exaggeration. For the past 50 years, the House of Representatives has had a 98 percent re-election rate for every one of them who runs for re-election. The Senate has had about a 90 percent re-election rate.

Politicians are paid a lot of money to keep tax expenditures alive. If tax expenditures were banned, their donors would have no incentive to keep paying them.

If you want real campaign finance reform, you have to stop giving federal politicians the power which is being bought. You can't buy power that does not exist. Take the power away from the central government, then special interests can't capture it.

Think of the fuel savings. One less day of rush hour. One less day of busses and trains running. Some people travel 30,40,50 miles to get to work everyday. Their savings would really add up at the end of the month.

Who would object? The environmentalists can't object because a four day work week would result in less pollution. The right can't object because the decrease in fuel would lower the price at the pump. Families would welcome the idea because nearly everybody would have a three day weekend to spend together.

I consider myself an Expert on this one. I have had years of 3-12 hour shifts (paid as 40 hours with differential). I have had years of 4-10 hour work-days. I have had the 5-8 hour days. For the worker the shorter week is a dream......1 or 2 days extra weekend.

Some companies have 3-12 first week.........4-12 second week. alternate. 4th 12 hour day is a killer, better to stay on 3-12 if you can find it. Swing day was WED.

At-Will Exempt employee is overloaded and forced to come in anyways on off days or the Employee will be laid off as "non-performer". A win-win for evil management. 4-10s' becomes 5-10s' very quickly. I have already lived it.

Agree, that's why I stated earlier that it wouldn't be for everybody, but neither is 5-8 hour days for people now. However, it is the industry standard.

I hate to say it, but I think if Hillary had 4-10s as part of her platform, she actually would have won this last election.
