Sanders Tweets 'How Many Yachts Do Billionaires Need? How Many Cars?

Here's a tip for Bernie Sanders. Go out to Hollywood during the Academy Awards and ask people how many diamonds movie stars need to flaunt. Let us know how you make out.

$1.4 trillion in annual tax expenditures. That is by far the biggest reason we have a $20 trillion debt, and Republicans are more guilty of putting them in the tax code than Democrats. It's a way to raise debt and taxes undetected by the ignorant herd which has been convinced they are getting to keep more of their own money when in fact they are being robbed.

If a man builds a better mousetrap, he deserves every dollar he earns. Bernie Sanders considers that person to be the thief, and Sanders believes that entrepreneur should be severely punished.

That kind of wealth is beautiful and good. Sanders and his envious leeches wants you to bleev it is ill-gotten gains.

But there is an entirely different kind of wealth concentration which has been occurring for quite some time now right under your noses. This kind of wealth concentration is achieved through legislation which tilts the playing field to the advantage of sclerotic special interests who can no longer compete on a level playing field.

And these thieves have all the legal protections of the State to rob you blind.

If employees were better paid we'd not have a $20T debt.

It is ill-gotten gains.

How do you figure that????

The middle class where the IRS receives 72% of their collection would have paid more in taxes.

Debt is less about more taxes collected than it is too much spending. We collect enough in taxes.

Debt is caused by not enough income.

Let me guess...you're a government employee?

That's only half of Sanders' belief system. He also believes rich people don't NEED their money and that it is okay to steal it from them.

That's complete BULLSHIT. Shouldn't the rich/wealthy pay the same percentage of tax on income as you?
Sanders' yacht comment clearly indicates he feels we should take even more money from the rich.

Shouldn't the rich/wealthy pay the same percentage of tax on income as you?
Haven't you understood a single thing I said? I clearly said we need to eliminate all individual tax expenditures.

Why? Because it doesn't benefit you?
Your ignorance has led you to make erroneous assumptions.

Tax expenditures do benefit me. I am in the upper bracket.

This is the problem with talking with innumerate people about tax expenditures. This is all above your heads.

We have an insane system whereby two people earning identical incomes are paying radically different amounts of income taxes, depending on how well they have behaved the way the government wants them to.

If you don't buy the right kind of refrigerator, the government punishes you with higher taxes than your neighbor who did.

If you don't buy the right kind of car, the government punishes you with higher taxes than your neighbor who did.

If you don't get a mortgage, the government punishes you with higher taxes than your neighbor who did.

It was no leap to punish you with higher taxes for not buying the right kind of health insurance.

On top of all that, we are all paying higher tax rates to pay for all these wealth transfers up the food chain.

Aside from the benefits I explained in a previous post, another result of eliminating tax expenditures would be that people who earn identical incomes would pay identical taxes. And their tax rate would be MUCH lower than it is today.

It does not get more honest and fair and beneficial than that.

Without tax expenditures, you could do your taxes on a postcard.

You wouldn't need H&R Block or Jackson Hewitt or Turbo Tax. It would take you five minutes to do your taxes.

And your tax rate would be much lower. And you would be paying the exact same amount as everyone else who earns what you do.

No less than FOUR Republican candidates proposed tax plans very close to this ideal.

The tards picked a New York limousine liberal Democratic huckster instead. UNBELIEVABLE!

His vacation home was inherited by his wife when her parents died, she swapped it for a cottage closer to where they live so they can utilize it.
Not one of the news articles have ever said inherited, it's all he purchased. But if that's the theme you're going for then why would you insist everyone but him have their inheritance taxed so the wealth can't be just given to someone like...Oh, I don't know maybe a senator who never made a dime on his own and should be the least deserving of any inheritance? Shouldn't the government get that property?

If the yacht had a US flag flying you might be correct, but, say the yacht is flying under one of many foreign flags, the US would have no authority under maritime law.

A Senator NEVER makes a dime on his own?
What yacht? We are talking about the socialist Sanders and his THIRD home. And yes he has never made any money in the private sector. He went from welfare and food stamps to ...well, better welfare with a fancy government title and no work requirement.

He worked for the government. That's a job.
He went from welfare to a government handout with a title. Not an impressive resume for someone with three houses that whines about actual business owners.

Name one Republican politician since 1970 that has written or sponsored legislation that benefited the middle class without giving the rich/wealthy a bigger benefit.

Republicans have voted against raising the minimum wage how many times.

More money for training and experience is a Union ideal. Market price (like fish) is how most employers pay.

Since 1970?

As you know, many dozens. Starting with President Ronald Reagan who turned around the disaster known as President Jimmy Carter. That led to more than a quarter of a century of economic growth.

How does increasing the minimum wage help the middle-income worker?

What is the typical annual income of a household where one of the workers earns the minimum wage?

Sanders is a total fraud and hypocrite. Can't Sanders live in a cheap apartment why does he need a house? He should sell all his belongings and give his money to the government to be redistributed then he can talk shit.

Sanders is pro-American worker. Trump isn't.

Sanders never had a real job in his whole adult life fool.

Neither has Trump...

You lie.

A progressive income tax is unconstitutional
Where in the world did you get that idea?

Here's an authority on that subject: Equality: Thomas Jefferson to James Madison

"Another means of silently lessening the inequality of property is to exempt all from taxation below a certain point, and to tax the higher portions of property in geometrical progression as they rise."
Taxation without representation
Non sequitur. You clearly don't know what that means, or its origins.
Taxation without representation

It is none of the sonofabitch's business what he thinks we need or don't need.

These greedy Left Wing shitheads are always bitching about what other people have or don't have.It is despicable.

"
Bernie Sanders Buys His Third House
The perpetually aggrieved Vermont senator helps himself to a modest lakefront property."

Bernie Sanders Buys His Third House

The guy is a hypocrite and there is nothing you can say or do to change it.

Like Hillary and Bill's, the Obamas, Pelosi's, Schumer's, and the rest of the DNc leadership and Senators and Congressmen, his houses are all open to the homeless, criminal illegal aliens, and 'vetted Syrian refugees', sanctuaries of safety for the oppressed of the world.

Oh, wait, they're not ... never mind.

Haven't you understood a single thing I said? I clearly said we need to eliminate all individual tax expenditures.

Great, we go with the Fair Tax!

How FAIRtax Works | FAIRtax.org
I have frequently said I prefer the Fair Tax. However, unless you ban tax expenditures first, no tax plan of any kind will be viable. They will all be corrupted as much as our current tax scheme.

I've read at least 12 of those 'Fair Tax' Bills; they weren't anywhere near 'fair', at least the ones that made to the floor for votes. My security settings don't like the link to 'FairTax.org', so it will have to wait until it dumps all the ad crap and third party spam, but so far anything with 'Fair Tax' in the title is wins 0 losses 12.

I bet she was delighted to pay an inheritance tax right?
What about their other two residence's? How many places do you need to own?
Sanders ought to ask why BONOBO has spent so much time staying on his friends luxury mega-yachts in the S. Pacific.
