Thes left conspiracy theorists who hate everything for which this nation stands conveniently ignored Hussein's use of poison gasses against the Kurds. The best estimates are nearly one million Kurds were killed at the hands of Hussein's military.
The Baathist Iraqi government led by Hussein wanted the Kurds either oppressed to the point of submission or eradicated.
As for the remainder of Iraq's WMD supply, intelligence reports these were hidden in other nations.
