They are holding large sums of money off shore.

In the case of the multi national I worked for.....when Obama won they shifted all our investment overseas (60% of it was already going there).

Both are over 35, natural born citizens and have lived in the USA for 14 years. Both are qualified to be President. Neither are WORTHY to be President.

Corporations have record profits because they're not reinvesting the money into their businesses, not because they are not taxed enough.

Only some corporations have record profits. Some corporations show record profits because they've bought off politicians with contributions in order leverage a corporatist advantage over competition. Their competition, which includes small businesses, are not showing record profits, they're barely able to keep their doors open in what has become the most anemic economic recovery in history.

Then there are some corporations who legitimately achieve record profits without collusion with government and corporatism because, even in a bad economy, some businesses profit. (Think title loan companies and paycheck advance companies.)

And then, some corporations realize greater profits as the natural result of economics because profit is the byproduct of a formula.... the oil companies, for example, realize greater profits when gas prices are high because their costs remain relatively the same. Profit is higher because they are selling a more expensive product.

The thing to remember is, all liberal progressives hate corporations making ANY profits. That's capitalism and they hate capitalism. They believe these corporations should simply do what they do at cost for the sake of humanity. Problem is, that idea doesn't work in practice.
