The Russian winter had as much to do with the Eastern Front.

America supplied Russia with vehicles and equipment....because they had pre-staged vehicles and equipment for the invasion of Germany and the rest of Europe, but the national socialist beat them to the punch......and the Germans were forced to divert forces to deal with Africa, Italy, and then France......if not for all of that, the Russian would be a lot smaller in population and a lot more Germans would be living on their property...
