Putin carelessly overestimated the power of his Army and the degree of resistance he would face

Russia “is going to pay a very heavy price” for a long time because of its war in Ukraine, CIA Director Bill Burns said on Thursday.

“I think if you take a step back now, it’s hard to see the record of the war — Putin’s record — as anything other than a failure so far,” Burns said at a cybersecurity conference in Washington, DC. “Not only has the weakness of the Russian military have been exposed, but there’s going to be long term damage done to the Russian economy and to generations of Russians as a result of this.”

It's a damn shame that the people will bear the brunt of this.

That's what happens when autocrats are in control.

It'll be interesting to see if the exposure of their military weakness will manifest at any time.

NATO will adjust its doctrine and has learned how to fight the Russians.
It will also take decades for Russia to rebuild its military. They just don’t have the economy

Russia is begging N Korea for military hardware. Shows how low they have sunk

The Russian army is still steadily advancing in eastern and southern Ukraine, while Ukrainian forces continually retreat with heavy losses of men and weapons.
The Ukraine air force no longer exists as Russia completely controls the sky and can bomb targets whenever they are located.
The Russian economy is doing great and the Ruble is pegged higher than the Euro and the Dollar on the global financial markets.
Russian sales of crude oil and LNG has doubled and might triple come the winter months.

That's real money. Unlike nations that print it up out of nothing. It's just we have a long way down to the gutter.

Ukraine has an unlimited supply of both humanitarian and military supplies from the west

Russia is begging for supplies from China and N Korea

Some of the European nations are starting to slowly withdraw their military and financial support of Ukraine as their citizens begin to protest the over 9% inflation rate, plus are about to face a long cold winter with acute oil and LNG shortages due to their leaders policies of sanctioning Russia and backing Ukraine.
Russia isn't begging N Korea or China for mainly artillery shells, that's absurd.
They are just trading military supplies for crude oil and LNG energy products.
The three countries all basically share the same calibers of weapons ammo since they have been allies in previous wars against the western nations.
