1) The threat to Ethnic Russians in the Donbass
2) Ukraine's threats to join NATO.

Before Putin's invasion the conflict was basicaly frozen, with annual casualties since 2019 that could be counted on your hands and those were primarily from people stepping on mines.
TOTAL death toll in 8 years, mostly soldiers and militants from both sides was about 14,000. You can compare that to well over a million since Putin ordered the full scale invasion.
So nobody has been killing Russians in Ukraine like Putin is. People that truely love Russians don't want to see them killed by the thousands every ******* month for years on end so Putin can steal a piece of land. True Russian patriots are those that want to see RF as an open, prosperous country that respects borders, gets along with it's neighbors, produces and trades with other countries, spends it's vast resources for the benefit of it's citizens.

What would happen if a bunch of Spanish speaking men, under Mexican millitant command, would violently take over El-Paso and started putting up Mexican flags on American gov buildings?
