Ratings down for the NFL, I watch over the air where no one can "count" me. Found games to be mostly OK considering, was more interested in the Steelers last night.

  1. Johnson the #1 receiver can't catch.
  2. Ben's back but he still can't throw.
  3. Ten minutes into the game Ben was sacked, was in obvious pain, got up obviously LIMPING, almost hopping on one leg! He got through the game OK but this guy is old, beat up, his body can't take it and won't last the season. And the Steelers PASSED on several worthy QB replacements AND kept their backup who was nothing but an albatross of trouble last year who played so bad, was replaced by "The Duck" on the practice squad (who they got rid of this year).
  4. And their #1 running back James Connor, another guy injured every year who they could have easily replaced and PASSED on several worthy replacements didn't make it half way through his first game without an ankle injury and was out the rest of the game! Not gthat he did much when he did play: dropped passes, 1-2 yards per carry. :smoke:
Steelers managed to beat the Giants, 4-12 last year but really? Steeler fans, you think these people are going to the playoffs much less the SB?

Steelers, another year of a defense looking REALLY SOLID, but with a decrepit faltering offense who will struggle to keep up.

Ju-Ju Smith Schuster actually looked GOOD, much improved, back to his old self, but don't count on a reliable Ben to throw to him, Steelers have no one to replace Ben, and are back to Benny Snell to run the ball again with Connor already back to sitting his ass on the bench.

Another year of disappointment for Steeler fans due largely to the usual head-up-the-ass leadership management of Tomlin and the Rooneys forever in denial of their true weaknesses and strengths.
