It was a good job by Romney to stop the bleeding. The question now is whether Obama can successfully use everything Romney said against him. The truth is Romney lied on almost everything he said during the debate. So far it's worked out well for him, because Obama didn't really call him out on any of it. The question is will voters continue to believe we can cut taxes by nearly 30% and increase revenue?

The truth is that is complete nonsense.

Obama cant call Romney out on anything because the truth overcomes lies.

Romney lied is the norm for the left now. It is the only way that they can defend Obama's poor showing at the debate. However, the attacks are not going to work and Obama is going to get womped in the next two debates as well.

But anywho.. they are small sample polls.. they are about as reliable as a gauze condom

What part of growth brings in more revenue than higher taxes have ever done, that some people in this country don't get? They believe the lies that the left put out.
Lower taxes has always brought more growth and more revenue.

what part of trickle down voodoo economics doesn't work do some people not get?

if it worked, baby bush wouldn't have left this country in the mess it was in.

The trickle of voters leaving obama has become a raging river. There are changes literally by the minute. It's hard to keep up.

If obama doesn't do well in the next debate, and it's looking increasingly that he won't. This election will be basically all over next week.

Let's test that, asswipe.

Does Obama want to raise taxes on the business owners who created 50% of the jobs we need, or not?

Once we embarrass you on this point, we will move to the next.

Obviously due to an oversampling of Republicans resulting in these skewed polls

Its funny, the "He lied" crowd continually screams he lied, but can never point to where exactly it is....

Then they scream he has been to vague, if thats the case how can he be lying about anything?

RCP National Average 47.3 48.0 Romney +0.7 Favorable Ratings +5.2 -0.8 Obama +6.0
Intrade Odds 61.4 39.0 Still Obama, but way down from 78.5 two weeks ago

Electoral College Obama Romney Spread
RCP Electoral Map 251 181 Obama +70
No Toss Up States 294 244 Obama +50

Romney and Ryan have to continue working harder. They have made an amazing comeback. Biden first then Obama twice are going to hit their opponents on the holes in their narrative. Ryan characterized as "they are going to say we are liars" for changing the narrative. That's exactly what is going to happen.

What an amazing election season.

It isn't that the democrats have been saying Romney lied. It's that everyone lied. Big Bird is lying now. It's starting to look like a massive cocaine paranoia meltdown.

What happens to people who go around screaming that everyone is lying but them, is that they end up being thought of as the liars themselves and this is what has happened with obama.

You mean Obama is up 1.7 but slipping. This is down more than 2 points in the last 2 weeks.

If the election were held today, odds are Obama would win, carrying NV and NH and Mich and OH.

The next three weeks will tell.

That's all Obama has to run on, but in fact, it is Obama who has been lying about Romney, and now that voters have seen the real Mitt Romney standing next to Obama, Obama will not be able to get away with his lies about Romney.

For clarification, Romney's plan does not call for tax cuts or nearly 30% but for a reduction in tax rates by 20% to be offset by ending some deductions on the wealthy and with the caveat that he will not allow any tax cuts that will increase the deficit. This means that Romney will make sure any part of the proposed 20% reduction in tax rates will be revenue neutral and if this extra money in voters' pockets stimulates the economy, certainly it will increase revenues.

However, the polls are not about the details of Romney's proposals or Obama's lies about them, they are about the fact that standing shoulder to shoulder, Romney looked and sounded like a leader and Obama did not, Romney looked and sounded presidential and Obama did not.

Are you calculating the enthusiasm gap, which drives turnout and which is the reverse of what it was in 2008?
