Where Does the Money Come From?
Besides the Individual Mandate penalty/tax, there are numerous NEW or INCREASED taxes and fees to fund all that is required by this law.

  • +.9% Increase in Medicare Tax Rate (plus next item…) this means your paycheck will be less !
  • 3.8% New Tax on unearned income for high-income taxpayers= $210.2 billion ($200,000 for individual and $250,000 for joint filers) (Hey... these people will continue to move money offshore!)
  • New Annual Fee on health insurance providers = $60 billion (For calculation - Sec 9010 (b) of the PPACA.)[1] (Wow... another way of saying "INCREASE HEALTH INSURANCE PREMIUMS)
  • 40% New Tax on health insurance policies which cost more than $10,200 for an individual or $27,500 for a family, per year = $32 billion (inland tax as opposed to an importation tax) Who pays this???
  • New Annual Fee on manufacturers and importers of branded drugs = $27 billion (For calculation - Sec 9008 (b) of the PPACA)[2] Who pays this???
  • 2.3% New Tax on manufacturers and importers of certain medical devices = $20 billion
  • +2.5% Increase (7.5% to 10%) in the Adjusted Gross Income floor on medical expenses deduction = $15.2 billion If you are a senior or retired, your floor has been raised! Won't be able to deduct as much!
  • Limit annual contributions to $2,500 on flexible spending arrangements in cafeteria plans (plans that allow employees to choose between different types of benefits) = $13 billion (Once again idiots who's ONLY solution is to raise taxes! there is an estimated $22.8 billion held in HSA accounts amongst 11.8 million HSA accounts. If you have one of the 11.8 million accounts see it reduced. Health savings account - Wikipedia the free encyclopedia
  • All other revenue sources = $14.9 billion
    • 10% New Tax imposed on each individual for whom “indoor tanning services” are performed. Now guess what folks this is such a BIG BIG deal!!! All the while the lawyers including Obama laughing all the way to the bank on the $270 BILLION that could be taxed at 10% like tanning salons and would simply without ANY other changes paid the premiums for the truly 4 million that are uninsured....while at the same time REDUCING the FACT of the wasted $850 billion that 90% of doctors attest they bill insurance/medicare for DEFENSIVE MEDICINE! YES AND if this wasted $850 billion were reduced by 20% the majority of it would have gone to reduce premiums! But most ignorant idiots don't think that far and obviously you all want to protect Lawyers right???

    • 3.8% New Tax on investment income. Includes: gross income from interest, dividends, royalties, rents, and net capital gains. Investment income does not include interest on tax-exempt bonds, veterans’ benefits, excluded gain from the sale of a principle residence, distributions from retirement plans, or amounts subject to self-employment taxes. (The lesser of net investment income or the excess of modified Adjusted Gross Income over a the dollar amount at which the highest income tax bracket, typically $250,000 for married filing jointly and $200,000 filing as an individual).
Obamacare s Funding Where the money comes from and where it goes Align America

So will there be $210 billion in tax revenue from those "wealthy high-income " that will be used to reduce premiums on subsidized policies? NOPE!
And here is one of several reasons WHY the USA will NOT see that $210 billion......

Still, the newly published names of individuals who renounced their U.S. citizenship or terminated long-term U.S. residency is up, with 576 for the quarter and 1,577 so far this year. The growing trend is a sad one, with record numbers of Americans renouncing their U.S. citizenship.

The tally was 2,999 for all of 2013, a 221% increase over the 932 who left in 2012. The Treasury Department is required to publish a quarterly list, a kind of public outing putting Americans on notice of who relinquished their rights. Consular expatriations, where people don’t file exit tax forms with the IRS, are apparently not counted.
