Trump has not provided clear details or proposals on his positions regarding abortion, Obamacare, or tax cuts, despite being pressed for answers.
In 1999, Trump said he was"very pro-choice". Gee I wonder why that changed. Oh wait it's because he panders to republicans now. Now abortion is bad! in 2022, he took credit for overturning Roe vs Wade,
Trump likes to say now, conveniently, that "it's up to the states". Gee who saw that coming? Of course besides being bullshit, it does not make any sense since the federal government regulates two different abortion drugs that account for half of them. Trump has since refused to answer if these drugs should be made illegal. Gotta protect the women vote at all costs, I guess.
Meanwhile, a television reporter in Pittsburgh asked Trump if he supports any restrictions on contraception.“ We’re looking at that, and I’m going to have a policy on that very shortly,” the candidate responded.
Oops! This came later: He “will never advocate imposing restrictions on birth control.”
Now, Obamacare — the federally funded health insurance program known formally as the Affordable Care Act. Trump tried to repeal the ACA when he was president in 2017 but failed. He still denounces the program vigorously.
Then this came: “I’m not running to terminate the ACA,” he posted. “We’re going to make it much better.”
Finally, taxes and the federal budget. Two weeks ago, at a rally in New Jersey, Trump made a sweeping promise: big tax cuts for everybody.
“I’ll give you a Trump middle-class, upper-class, lower-class, business-class, big tax cut,” he said. “You’re going to have the biggest tax cut.” But Trump doesn’t appear to have an actual tax plan — just a broad promise. Keep in mind Trump raised the national debt by 8 trillion in FOUR years.

Column: Trump fans say he speaks his mind. But on some subjects, he's as slippery as an eel
Donald Trump isn't telling you what he thinks about abortion, Obamacare and the federal budget. Why? Because it won't help him beat Biden in the election.
