RIP Hulk Hogan.

True. Fans want to see muscular guys in the ring instead of some scrawny ass dudes wrestling each other. Steroid is the answer. Lots of pro wrestler died in their 30s or 40s. Some were fortunate to live into their senior years.
Wrestling has its fair share of tragic deaths. Other sports in that era has some also.

Sad News.

Watching the WWF in the 80s, as it was called then, was as entertaining as it gets. The Hulkster, the Macho Man, Rowdy Roddy Piper, among many others, were some of the greatest wrestling personalities. Now its a bore.

RIP, Hulkster!
The iron sheik, Sargent slaughter, Kevin Nash,Bundy, John Studd, Razor Ramon , Brett Hart and more

I never followed "wrestling" but some friends invited me to the
L. A. Sports Arena back in the 80's to see him against King Kong Bundy, it was actually fun to watch.

Great entertainer in his own right.

RIP

Agreed. Steroids caught up with him.
For a group of guys who probably know nothing about the subject, you all sure act like you’re experts.

I doubt very much Hogan was even taking them the past 15 years beyond a TRT dose.

Uncool to speculate baselessly about the recently deceased

I liked his original Eye of the Tiger ring entrance from back in the day...

Anyway. Looks like he made his peace a while back...

Oh man…another legend gone.
Godspeed Hulk

I wish I had easy access to old prints of mine. Back in the 70s, I went to a small wrestling event local to me and took my girlfriends camera with me. I took several pictures while there. There was this one really big wrestler who caught my attention.

Many years later, I happened to look at those photos again and realized that big guy was actually Hulk Hogan long before he became Hulk Hogan. There was no gold, no yellow, I think he wore black tights and had different colored hair.
