1. That seems to be the attitude that infuses so very many Leftists/Democrats: "OK, so you put in the hard work, delayed gratification, applied all of your God-given abilities.....and earned wealth or at least comfort, from the fruits of your labor......but now I have government on my side, and they will simply take from you and give to me."
And all it cost them was their vote.

2. Sociologist Helmut Schoeck’s observation: “Since the end of the Second World War, however, a new ‘ethic’ has come into being, according to which the envious man is perfectly acceptable. Progressively fewer individuals and groups are ashamed of their envy, but instead make out that its existence in their temperaments axiomatically proves the existence of ‘social injustice,’ which must be eliminated for their benefit.” Helmut Schoeck, “Envy: A Theory of Social Behavior,” p. 179

3. Who are the rich that are so envied, and reviled? Entrepreneurs, small businessmen, corporate executives, doctors, lawyers, just plain Americans…not royalty. The reason to deprive them of rewards with no tangible benefits to oneself: envy.

4. “Any society that entails the strengthening of the state apparatus by giving it unchecked control over the economy, and re-unites the polity and the economy, is an historical regression. In it there is no more future for the public, or for the freedoms it supported, than there was under feudalism.”
~ Robert Higgs

5. When you see that trading is done, not by consent, but by compulsion - when you see that in order to produce, you need to obtain permission from men who produce nothing - when you see that money is flowing to those who deal, not in goods, but in favors - when you see that men get richer by graft and by pull than by work, and your laws don't protect you against them, but protect them against you - when you see corruption being rewarded and honesty becoming a self-sacrifice - you may know that your society is doomed. Ayn Rand.

The sheeples don't SEE how these corrupt rich people BECAME rich though.

The sheeples believe the corrupt rich LIES and CON GAMES they play, as well as the proganda they spew out.

The sheeples believe, as the religious do to their "gods", that all they have to do is praise their names and do as they bid, and the sheeples will have it all, without ever getting off their asses.

And as such..........this has been going on for centuries, and yet...........the sheeples STILL haven't caught on!!! There's a reason they are sheeples, and exependable.

One must be unscrupulous to become filthy rich because they don't earn it from sweat.

Progs believe everything government about anything of growth. Obama said it. "You didn't build that" when it came to private enterprise.

And the sick irony is that it's often a bait and switch.

Latest example? Check out the Student Loan "Forgiveness" joke.

If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If you’ve got a business -- you didn’t build that. Somebody else made that happen. The Internet didn’t get invented on its own. Government research created the Internet so that all the companies could make money off the Internet.

The point is, is that when we succeed, we succeed because of our individual initiative, but also because we do things together. There are some things, just like fighting fires, we don’t do on our own. I mean, imagine if everybody had their own fire service. That would be a hard way to organize fighting fires.

Thats not always true. Lots of people have worked hard to get their money and glory.
They just aren't martyred in the media like the corrupt ones are.
Right, and yet we have this popular religion that tells us that you can't follow God and be wealthy, one can't be a slave to two masters...

Flat out wrong.
Most millionaires are self made and are almost obsessed by their work and careers/businesses.
Even putting their own families well out of priority over their work.
They became wealthy because they are willing to do what it takes to get to that kind of wealth, while most of us are not.
Sure their are many sharks and wasp out there getting rich by spooning the fat from other people's production... but they make up a small percentage of wealthy people.

Is that why they pay such low wages to the masses?
No way St. Peter let's you anywhere near the place...
St. Peter retired.
