No jobs, no consumers. You and Marx are wrong. The "proletariat" do not create the wealth. Labor is an important part of creating value in any company but labor alone creates nothing; they have nothing to create.
Then they have to hire and manage finances and manage employees - consumers as it were.
There are always people who want to consume but without someone having an idea, turning that into a product, managing a business, building a manufacturing operation, and giving jobs to potential consumers, there are no consumers.
Additionally, those who make the money, build the businesses, also take all the risk. They're the ones who don't get paid as they build a business and pay employees. They run the risk of losing everything they have.
The beauty of capitalism, the beauty of limited government, is that people are free to build on their ideas and hard work. Try that in Cuba.
