Every time one of you clowns makes assumptions about me, you miss by a mile.

At the age of 74, I am biking several miles a day, and swimming with my grandchildren. I played squash until I left Toronto 9 years ago. I don't own a car so I walk and bike everywhere. I got a new knee last year, and while I can't move as fast as I used to, I move every day, as much as possible. I was diagnosed with arthritis in 2006. If I don't keep moving, I'll rust in place.

Trump will be filing the case fool. He'll have to. Otherwise, he won't be on the primary ballot. He'll need a 2/3 majority vote in the state houses to overcome the ban, or the courts will have to overturn it.

The Republican Party wants Trump gone, and they're prepared to use his the courts to rid themselves of this albatross.

This is illegal.
The constitution made it illegal to use indictments to illegally skew elections hundreds of years ago.
The 14th amendment clause on insurrection was about a 3 year long civil war that killed almost a million people.
There is nothing remotely like that now.
Politicians are supposed to essentially have diplomatic immunity, and it is Congress who is supposed to police them.

Riots can be legal, and even if they are wrong, it is NOT insurrection.

Insurrection is something like illegally keeping popular candidates off the ballot.

The state can not enforce the 14th amendment directly, so any attempt to keep Trump off the ballot would have to be through a civil lawsuit.
