Rep. Boebert offended Rep. Omar

Israel is a country made up of mostly Jewish citizenry...To speak against the right of Israel to exist as a nation state is to display antisemitism....

Israel is a tiny country that is surrounded by enemies, that are constantly, and continiously attacking the population of the nation, and to do things like fund the enemies of Israel, an ally of the United States, is antisemetic...

And for Ohmar to speak about Israel as she does while a representitive of the United States Congress is not only antisemetic, but an embarrassment to the United States.
Once again, you confuse the Jewish religion with a nation made up of Jews
Frankly, Netanyahu is an asshole who does many things to disrupt the peace in the region and alienate the Muslim population under Israels control. He makes things worse.

It is possible to object to what Israel as a country does without objecting to the Jewish religion

All American Muslims are NOT peaceful....

"Triangle Center on Terrorism and Homeland Security, January 21, 2020. Twenty-four Muslim-Americans were arrested for alleged involvement with violent extremism in 2019, higher than the previous year but lower than the peak years of 2014-2016."

24 out of two million Muslims

American Conservatives are more violent. Ask the Capitol Police

Very true
And that is where Boebert is so offensive
She confuses the religion with the actions of the terrorists

She labels all American Muslims(who are peaceful) with those who are terrorists. So much so that she lies and makes up a story that a Capitol Police officer would storm an elevator because a Muslim woman is in it
How can all American Muslims be peaceful when not all Americans are peaceful yet most Muslim countries are not peaceful? So much so that America has had to cut travel to and from those countries for security reasons?

So much so that Boebert has to create a lie that a Capitol Police Officer would storm an elevator because a Muslim woman was in it
So much so that she would declare things safe because she wasn’t wearing a backpack.

She didn’t say we are safe because she was a Congress Member
She said we are safe because that Congress Member was not wearing a backpack

Netanyahu is no longer Prime Minister, just like Trump is no longer President...What is with you people?

Boebert made a smart ass remark fabricated, partially fabricated, or not fabricated - just like Omar does. Who gives a shot. Omar met her match.

Projecting again. Your idol Xiden shits his pants in public. Afraid of women? That’s you assholes here whining about a Republican woman. You are sad. Tell mommy your diaper needs changing. Everybody here can smell your shit.
Gee, Blowbert apologized when called out on her lie. Maybe she does have just a wee bit tad of a conscience.

Too bad low I.Q. gullible jerkoffs like you get your rocks off on that kind of garbage, which all started when your bleating orange ape god started his shit a few years ago, moron.

And the reason is it unsubstantiated is because the Democrats would protect against a true investigation, and largely because she is a Muslim - one of the Democrats’ protected minorities. As I said, we had a front- row seat as to how they circled the wagons around her after she made her disgusting antisemitic comments. If a Jewish congressperson made demeanng, insulting remarks about Muslims, they’d be demanding his head on a platter.
Don’t believe all the rightist news you read. You’ve (general you, not you specifically) have had it in for Omar from Day One. It isn’t enough to (justifiably) attack her for things she has said or attack her for her progressive stance, you have to make up stuff and when it proves unsubstantiated, double down on it to point where I think the main reason is that she is Muslim and a successful immigrant from a “shithole” country. I think what is really laughable are the rightist who claim she is a secret Islamist Jihadi infiltrator bringing Sharia law, when in reality her very progressive, pro-woman, pro-education, pro-rights positions would get her jailed and executed in the country she came from.

When it comes to things she has said and “protected classes”…I disagree. There are multiple “protected classes” including Jews. And this is evident by the political quagmire that exists when a politician criticizes Israel. But unlike Jews and blacks, Muslims remain politically acceptable targets of attack, even to elected representatives in various states attempting blatantly anti-Muslim legislation, such as requiring loyalty oaths including references to Israel, or openly stating we should not have muslims in public office (reminiscent of the old antiCatholic and anti-Jew rhetoric).

There is also a good bit of hypocrisy. For example, you say the Democrats weren’t hard enough on Omar for her anti-Semitic comments, but they did pressure her enough that she apologized.

Not only that, her comments WERE divisive and sharply criticized within her own party and community:

And note, these criticisms are from what you term “left wing media”.

What did the Republicans do when MTG over her anti-Semitic comments on “Jewish space lasers”? Were you in the front row when they circled the wagons? Did they harshly criticize her to the extent you demanded of Omar?

Neither are all American Christians.

Neither are all American Jews.

Neither are all Whites.

Neither are all blacks.

Humans of all kinds have a great capacity for violence.

Many countries dominated by Muslims do things that offend Americans; such as strapping on backpacks with bombs and running into cafes to blow up Americans.

Agree. The “tell” is the double standard. Antisemites reveal their animus toward Jews when the focus their condemnation on the only majority-Jewish country in the world, when there is barely a peep about any of the majority-Muslim countries guilty of horrible atrocities.

No he didn't you lying sack of shit. Trump would have done it an entirely different way you retarded fuckhead. The problem was HOW it was done, and Biden did it ass-backwards like the senile dunce he is. Trump would have got the people out first and the military last. Biden did it the other way around because, just like you, he is a retarded fuck.
You mean how Trump abandoned the Kurds to slaughter after they fought alonside our own troops to defeat ISIS, you moron.

The only thing "rising" is your stupidity, jerkoff.

You confuse being Anti-Israel as being anti-Semetic

Israel as a country does many things that American Muslims find to be offensive.

There is no law that says members of Congress must support everything Israel does
And American Jews don’t all agree with all of Israel’s positions.

I think there is a fine line there when it comes criticizing Israel as a state and anti semitism, and too often criticism of Israel becomes impossible with out being accused of anti-semitism. When Israel is uniquely singled out among nations for defending itself and it’s citizens, or unlike any other nation, having it’s right to exist continuously questioned, that is anti Semitic. But criticizing settlements, or it’s policies towards the Palestinians, is not imo. The demand that one must criticize all these other Arab countries if one criticizes Israel is a unique demand. For example, when the pro-Israel faction criticizes the Palestinians…should we demand they also criticize Myanmar for it’s attempted genocide against the Rohinga?

There is way too much in your post to unpack, but I’ll try.

The first is your claim that Jews are a protected minority. They are not. When a black person or a Muslim is criticized for some unacceptable remark, the Democrats are quick to say they are being condemned because they are black or Muslim. Omar uses it all the time: “waaaaa…..they’re criticizing me because I‘m a Muslim!” I got the same thing when I criticized Obama for his horrible Obamacare scheme: “you’re jusr opposed because a black man did it.” It’s gotten so bad that ANY criticism, no matter how justified, of one of the protected minorities brings about accusations of Islamophobia or racism.

Does that happen with Jews? When a Jew is treated unfairly, and complains about it, I’ve heard Democrats say Jews need to stop playing “the Jew victim card.” I’ve heard Democrats say ”it’s time Jews got over the Holocaust.” Do they tell blacks to get over slavery?

Take Omar and her antisemitic remark. You’ll recall how the Republicans in Congress wanted to issue a resolution condemning antisemitism. What happened? The Dems were so afraid to take a stand against Jew-hate that they had to water it down to being against all bigotry, with Jews named near the end. Omar twisted the whole thing around, and bragged about the resolution “condemning Islamophobia.”

Watering it down, right after Omar’s antisemitic tropes, WEAKENS thr message. It’s the same reason leftists get mad when Republicans say the slogan should be ALL LIVES MATTER and not specifically BLACK LIVES MATTER. So why are Democrats OK with watering down the resolution on antisemitism but not on Black Lives Matter? Answer: because blacks are one of the Dems‘ protected minorities, and Jews are not.

Whew. That‘s enough for one post!

We are not demanding that people who criticize Israel, and only Israel, also condemn the horrible Muslim countries like Syria, Iran, etc. We are pointing out that the repeated and targeted sole focus on the one Jewish-majority country, while never mentioning the atrocities of a Muslim countries, is an attitude driven by antisemitism.

It also depends on how the criticism is leveled. If it is specific to a policy, such as the settlements, it CAN be valid without Jew-hate behind it. But the broad brush with which Israel is condemned - such as claiming Israel is an apartheid country, or Israel is guilty of genocide (both false accusations btw) - is most certainly indicative of antisemitism.

And you know how I can tell? On every thread in which liberals are pissing all over Israel yet insisting they are not antisemitic, eventually some anti-Jew comment emerges from them 90% of the time.

It was not an off the cuff remark like her constant “Jihad Squad” put down

She crafted an outright lie that claims that Capitol Police are anti-Muslim and would target a woman just for wearing religious garb.

Then she bragged about her lie and sent out the video for all to see
