If I remember correctly, Democrats were set to subpoena Mulvaney, Bolton, and Pompeo...but the White House stated that they would block them. The only alternative was a lengthy court challenge while Trump and his team ran out the clock. The White House had every opportunity to make witnesses and documents freely available for the House impeachment inquiry. If Trump was innocent and the phone call was "perfect", these fact witnesses and documents would have the chance to clear his good name.....or more likely, bury it permanently.

So after Trump's own Roy Cohn whiffs on the investigation, the House has to do that themselves. All said, I think it was very fair. Trump had every chance to clear his name, but chose not to.

And what are you complaining about? The Senate is going to acquit him. He'll still have the impeached mark next to his name in the history books, but now he'll be free to bloviate.

The very fact that the biased Democrat House stupidly thought that by :
1) limiting witnesses to ONLY those that support the Democrat point of view..
2) NOT allowing the White House to take the subpoenas to SCOTUS which is the final arbitrator and NOW they are complaining about it?
3) Was it "fair" that even though all 4 Legal expert witnesses didn't vote for Trump...but there were 3 in favor of impeachment vs 1 who was
honest enough constitutional scholar to understand there was NO CASE! Was that "fair"?
4) Schiff and his staff met with the "whistleblower" to get the story straight ? Was that "fair"?
