Surprisingly, Al Jazeera America reported this story of Tennessee enacting a law similar to the one in Texas that the ACLU is screaming about. It is designed to defend students' rights to exercise their personal religious beliefs and defend the constitutionally of state law that protects religious liberties for all.

The story is @ Using Texas? model, more states mull ?religious viewpoints? in schools law | Al Jazeera America

Well, I read it all and there appears to be no particular agenda in its contents. But, considering the source, I can't help but wonder... :eusa_whistle:

It's hard to believe there are educated people that contend that a single sign or prayer establishes a State Religion. Which according to the Constitution if a State chose to establish a State Religion they are free to do so, in fact most States had official religions at the founding. The establishment clause is a prohibition on the Feds form establishing a national religion. You only need read the first few words of the first amendment, Congress shall pass no law.........

Why not use schools for learning instead of praying since churches are for praying and schools are for learning?
