"Biden beat Trump in 2020, so he'll beat Trump in 2024," is the current Democrat logic. It really is logic, for once.

In a vacuum, it actually makes sense, which is weird for the Democrats. While I disagree with it for the reasons below and many others, I hate to discourage it. Democrats' "logic," is usually stubborn repition of headlines of articles they never read, and name-calling. But this particular logic is still too shallow.

1) Hidin' Biden won't work this time. He can gin up some reason to avoid the campaign trail. He may even give the real reason: that he is in no shape for something that strenuous. But as president, he and his administration are in the news, and there is no way to avoid that.

2) His family's continuing legal troubles are directly related to him. No one believes that Hunter was paid all that money by foreign interests for his own talent and skills. Or if they do, this would be a good place to say so.

Best case scenario/cover story is that Hunter cashed in on dad's name with dad completely unaware. But for anyone blind enough to have believed that previously, too much evidence is coming out that Joe lied when he said that he never discussed his kids' business arrangement with them. All of this was known in the months leading up to the 2020 election, but the government interfered with the election by coercing social media into killing the story. Legacy media was already part of Team Biden, so needed no push in that regard. Which leads to . . .

3) No one believes the media anymore. We are divided into two camps: those who know the media is suppressing information to "get Trump," and are pissed about it, and those who know the media is suppressing information and are happy about it. We all know that the FBI/DOJ/DNC has been pushing an already biased media to be mouth pieces for the Biden Campaign and to carefully avoid anything negative. Cat's out of the bag on that one.

4) The economy. Gas prices, inflation, and interest rates are killing the middle class. Biden's energy policies and money printing seem almost designed to bring about those results. At the same time, Democrats have stopped appealing to the low-income whites and non-whites that used to be their base, especially during hard economic times. Instead they have become the Party of Pride, kicking to the curb all but the tiny minority of radical LGBT-Q+ folk.

There is plenty more, but I'll give others a chance, and Democrats a chance to respond to those.

1) Biden does not need to campaign strenuously to defeat an ever-weakening Trump.

2) No one is going to cast a vote against Biden because of Hunter.

3) Most voters will look at the media and polls. Since there are many more for Biden than Trump, the outcome is certain.

4) The economy is getting better for the middle class. Good paying jobs, an excess of good paying jobs available, 3.5 UE, a rising NLPR, inflation at 3%, good CPI and PPI. Dems will do well.

Not to mention the economy is doing great. No recession coming like Republicans predicted. And besides. Trump will be in jail come November 2024. Trump will have to get lucky like OJ Simpson to get out of this one. Perhaps if he drops out of the race they'll give him a Hunter Biden sweetheart deal.

A grand jury in the Southern District of Florida has charged former President Donald Trump with a new count of willful retention of National Defense Information in the case related to his handling of classified documents. The new charge stems from a top-secret presentation Trump waved at aides at his Bedminster, N.J., resort.

A new defendant was also added to the indictment against Trump and his aide Walt Nauta. Carlos de Oliveira, 56, of Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., was added to the obstruction conspiracy charged in the original indictment.

The superseding indictment charges Trump, De Oliveira and Nauta with two new obstruction counts based on allegations that they instructed an unnamed, fourth worker to delete surveillance video footage at Trump's Mar-a-Lago residence last summer "to prevent the footage from being provided to a federal grand jury."

The indictment charged De Oliveira with false statements and representations made in a interview with the FBI on Jan. 13, 2023. He is expected to appear at a federal courthouse in Miami on July 31. His lawyer John Irving declined comment.

The bottom line here is that Trump has made no inroads to swing the states he lost last time. He's got the same problem in 2024 that he had in 2020.
The outcome..will be the same. He loses. Plus, NO ONE except the die hard true believers wants to see another four years of Trump.

It was almost a miracle he won all 5 swing states he needed to win in 2016. If he would have lost even one of them, he lost to Hillary.

Hillary was so sure he wouldn't win she didn't campaign in any of the swing states. At least not MI. She never visited once. She was SURE she was going to be the next POTUS.

And Trump BARELY won all 5 of those states. After all his legal troubles and 4 years abusing his power, he has no chance.

I know Republicans still love him but even they are divided.

56 percent support among Republican

That means 44% of Republicans don't like Trump.

The only reason he won PA. and probably the other swing states is because the so called "progressives" refused to vote for Hillary Clinton. I hope these idiots were happy with the results. One of them told me that they were teaching the DNC a lesson.

Biden sees the real reason that the nuts are blathering about impeachment. It`s the cooling of inflation. :auiqs.jpg:

Trump is damaged goods already. The prosecutors will finish him off. Recall Emerson from your school days
"When you strike at the king, you must kill him."

That would have been a good quote for democrats, never Trump republicans, and the entrenched bureaucracy in the doj and FBI to have read before they decided to go after trump. Operation get Trump is now in its 8th unsuccessful year.
