Rafael Nadal Suffers Bizarre Injury With His Own Racket, goes on to win against Italian Fognini

will the dream match against Spanish youngster Alcaraz still happen? this definitely gives Alcaraz some sort of advantage!

The problem is it's BO5! A Masters 1000 event with BO3 I'd favor Alcaraz! The Big 3 and Nadal inparticular always seem to survive when the matches can be stretched out, even though all in their mid to late 30's! The mental edge goes to the veterans as it is right now at the USO where Serena Williams is still trying to stave off "Mother Time!" Down a set to Tomjanovic of Australia, but up a break in the 2nd set as the crowd goes wild! ;-)

The way Nick K played last night, Nadal will have a fight on his hands if it comes to that. He was monstrous against Medvedev.

Nadal is my favorite player, but the speed and strength of the younger Tiafoe was just too much for him today. Guy was serving the ball at 138 mph!
