They did say THAT in biblical times which is why when they finally got bored with wandering around the desert wilderness for 40 years the Hebrews had to fight to conquer their promised land and take it from those who were already there and were not welcoming them. The fact that the hebrews invaded and conquered those lands proved that those who did not wish to welcome them were correct in setting up roadblocks.

true but there is another side of the coin.

No doubt we are better off as an independent nation and not as a british colony however it is also true that the standard of living and life in general went up dramatically in places like India which were colonized.

It declined dramatically after colonialism ended and has still not caught up
