William Joyce - is that your real name? I knew I heard this name somewhere before but I just couldn't remember. Then I was watching TV with my son today and his favorite show came on, Rolie Polie Olie. I noticed in the opening credits that the writer is William Joyce.

Just found that funny. That and there are no blacks or jews on the show.

There was a english Nazi sympathizer killed in the UK shortly after the war. I think the name is in honor of that guy.

William Joyce (April 24, 1906 - January 3, 1946), was the second of two announcers who presented the Lord Haw-Haw program, which was a Nazi propaganda broadcast aimed against the United Kingdom during World War II.

Also a living author of children's books.
