Question - Email notification

Is there a better way of handling email notification than ....

1. Clicking "User CP"
2. Scrolling down to "List Subscriptions"
3. Going in and manualing clicking "each post"
4. Scrolling down to "Move to folder"
5. Clicking "No email notification"

If there is I am missing it someplace. HELP!!!

Click "edit options" on the user control panel

set default thread subscription mode to "no email notification."
