Why are there issues around funding a wall that Mexico is paying for ?

Because trump lied when he said Mexico would pay for it and is trying to force us tax payers to pay for it. We don't want it so there are issues.

If he gets Mexico to pay for it I'm sure there would be no problem.

But he lied and we don't like to be lied to.

Mexico is way more important as a trading partner than China but Trump screwed up in his timing of the next set of China tariffs but getting Mexico to effectively pay in kind for the wall to get improved trading with the US and Canada works too

We've been talking about doing something about the border for 50 years.

No more talk. BUILD THE FUCKING WALL.

We'll discuss Mexico later.

Over 50 years, they were smart enough to know a 40' wall is a waset of money.

Your problem is you think Trump is smarter than all those people. Really? Is that what you think?

No, for 50 years they were paralyzed by people like you playing sophist word games.

Now, the time for talk it long past. BUILD THE FUCKING WALL. DEPORT THE FUCKING ILLEGAL. DEPORT EVERYONE WE CAN. FUCK THE FUCKING EMPLOYERS.

Actually when you consider the over 400 deaths each year in the desert crossing into the U.S. if those deaths could be cut by even in half it would be a good investment.

Considering that it costs almost $11,000.00 to depot a single undocumented immigrant it could be paying for itself in a few years.

There are about a 700,000 case backlog in immigration courts. If the number of back logged cases could be cut in half it may allow for a more timely disposition to cases and perhaps a chance to get the outcome correct.

Each year almost 1.4 million pounds of marijuana and other drugs are smuggled across the border in Arizona alone. If you want illegal drugs to be stopped it would help. If you want those states that have legalized it to make more in taxes then it would help to slow the amount entering.

All in all the only loss would be in less people being exploited with low wages.
