Putting the Palestine and Israeli feud into perspective.

Palestine was a country.

The Brits and the UN came in a divided up the land and made Israel. They gave most of Palestine to the Jews, calling it Israel. Because people will self segregate, everyone was divided. After WW2, millions more jews were put there. Forcing Palestinians to get shoved back even more.

This in itself is what has done more to cause the problems than the religious aspect.

This is the work of UN.

Palestinians just want their damn country back. Hamas, as evil as they are, (and they're not god damn evil and should be slaughtered for being so evil) are the worst of the worst. And making this probably much worse than it should be. But being all shoved into such a small area, losing their country, are acting like most people would.

Imagine the US forcing Americans to all move to the west coast so that Europeans could occupy the rest of the USA. We wouldn't stand for it. We did it to the American indians.
The Brits helped King Faud expel the Turks during WW1. Long before there was a UN. Part of the deal was that the Brits would help him take 'his' land from the Ottoman Turks and he would allow us to set aside a small piece of land for the return of Jews to their homeland. Israel.

The Brits wanted to go slow, fearing that too many Jews moving to 'Palestine' would upset the locals, who were mostly Arab Muslims. And that's where the problems with people like Menachem Begin started. He wanted the Brits to allow more Jews to settle in Israel.

Jews moved to Israel by the boatload after WW2. Who can blame them? Especially after the National SOCIALIST, Hitler (there is no such word as 'nazi'). But it caused some very bad feelings in the area. So bad, they invaded Israel. All of them. And Israel proceeded to kick their asses for their trouble.

During the conflict, many Muslim Arabs either left Israel of their own accord or were forced out. Also, during the conflict, many, many Jews were booted from their homes throughout the Arab world. Even Persia (Iran) booted them. Probably so they could steal their belongings.

More hard feelings. The displaced Jews were taken in by Israel. The displaced Arabs were ignored by their Arab brothers. I don't blame the 'Palestinians' for being pissed, but they're pissed at the wrong people! There's a whole more to this but...

There is no white and black here. No cut and dried right or wrong.

Except for one thing --

You are one stupid bitch

The Mandate for Palestine never included the creation of a Jewish State. The returning Jews were offered autonomy. However when the lies the Arabs believed about the immigrants boiled over into a never ending cycle of violence, they had no choice but to defend themselves and their families.

You said "There was never such a country."
You're not just stupid, you are FUKKING stupid

The Balfour Declaration was a public statement issued by the British government in 1917 during the First World War announcing its support for the establishment of a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine, then an Ottoman region

Is this what you want to flog to death the next few hours?
We could talk about the French Mandate for Syria and Lebanon and how those two countries emerged from that Mandate. Saying there were never a country called Palestine is used to semantically disassociate the people who once called Palestine home from their homeland. The area has been called Palestine since ancient times.

LMAO.. My support lies with the innocent people on both sides of this. The instigators, especially Hamas, can suck deeze nutz.

The idea that Hamas is not acting with broad Palestinian support is absurd

Yeah, the Romans referred to it as Palaestina, for convenience sake.

The Philistines originated in Crete,

What do you define as “broad Palestinian support”?

Two thirds of Gaza residents are not in favor of the Hamas attacks. Only half support Hamas as an entity

Support for Hamas on the West Bank is even lower

Rome changed the name because they wanted to cut off the Jews claim to their homeland.
A land called “Israel” did not exist before 1947ad.

The Jews at that time were shepherds with no country.

Egypt welcomed the Jews and gave them land.
The Jews prospered until Moses’ murders someone in the street. The Pharaoh at the time tried to catch Moses and punish him for murdering someone. Moses gathers his fellow Jews and flees. This marked the beginning of the exodus.

Damn you Neo-GOP stooges are to much. That also said "nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine”

How did this one start? Do you know? It destroys your argument
How did what start? The Hamas attacks?

On regard to my question that makes no sense.

I asked how ending the occupation of the West Bank hurts Israel

And nothing was done. It was the Arabs that got their tits in a tangle.

Like every other dimocrap in the world, you're just an anti-civilization dirtbag.

Say to yourself how this one started and see if you can figure it out. I'm tired of explaining the obvious to leftists

You mother should wash your mouth out with soap.

There never was a country called “Israel”, period.
Oh Wise One
Prove me wrong

You realize in the previous words of that sentence they called the country "Palestine", right?

"Whereas recognition has thereby been given to the historical connection of the Jewish people with Palestine and to the grounds for reconstituting their national home in that country"
Palestine was the name of the region. It is not, was not, nor has it ever been a country.

And they settled where? Yeah, between the Jordan and the Med.

Hahaha you make me laugh. Considering the parallels between the Palestinian Arabs and the New Republicans. They believed the lies they were told about the UK's intention to steal all of the land and give it to the Jews. Very similar to the way the New Republicans believed the lies about the 2020 election being stolen from them. The response to the lies were riots in both instances.

Now is the time for someone to try and conflate the riots over Floyd's murder with the Jan 6th election riot.

Yeah it's just what people around the world and who lived there called it.
