Putting the Palestine and Israeli feud into perspective.

What kind of word is Jerusalem, child?

Since you are completely ignorant and just repeating the talking points of hate sites, let me tell you. It is a HEBREW word. In addition, there is an uninterrupted Jewish presence there going back three millennium.
And a non-Jewish presence there going back 6000 years.

According to the bible the Jews migrated from Egypt and claimed the region as their own. Then the Jews went to war with the non-jewish peoples surrounding them in the age old convert or die effort of each and every mono-theist religion.

So, to be perfectly accurate, the Jews stole the region from the people living there, killed those who wouldn't convert, claimed the region was theirs because "God" told them so, a claim never verified by anyone not Jewish, then were kicked out by the Romans for refusing to obey the law.

There is no actual historic claim by the Jews to the region.

A land called “Israel” did not exist before 1947ad.

The Jews at that time were shepherds with no country.

Egypt welcomed the Jews and gave them land.
The Jews prospered until Moses’ murders someone in the street. The Pharaoh at the time tried to catch Moses and punish him for murdering someone. Moses gathers his fellow Jews and flees. This marked the beginning of the exodus.

Egypt didn't really use slaves. They had some, but not too many. Usually just personal servants/slaves.

What they used was a certain method of 'conscription' to build public works. Often pyramids. Sometimes, aqueducts or other waterways; sometimes massive irrigation projects. Whatever. Not sure of the time period but it must have been for around 5 years

Jews were relative newcomers to the land of Egypt and when it was time for them to be conscripted, they bolted.

They weren't slaves, Moses wasn't wanted for murder, and if he was, murder as you know it wasn't a 'crime' back then. Pharaoh decided what was criminal activity and what wasn't.

Him and whatever death-cult 'god' he worshipped.

As an OBTW, one of the (many reasons) Jews split from Egypt was because they got sick and tired of their obsession with death and (mostly) because every time a new Pharaoh stumbled to the throne -- All the laws changed. New Pharaoh, new god(s), new rules. What was okay yesterday can get you buried alive today

Jews decided -- One God, One Law, ever-lasting, never-changing.

You're welcome

Made things a lot simpler

Boundaries defined in the 1947 UN Partition Plan for Palestine:

Blue Area assigned for a Jewish state
Tan & Green Area assigned for an Arab state
Gray & Pink Planned Corpus separatum with the intention that Jerusalem would be neither Jewish nor Arab

Armistice Demarcation Lines of 1949 (Green Line):

Blue, Tan and Gray Israeli controlled territory from 1949
Pink & Green Egyptian and Jordanian controlled territory from 1948 until 1967
And, BTW - this is the kind of stupidity when things are decided by committee.
There was no way in hell these lines were going to work for anyone.

People should be able to reason that one out, but most people are incapable of reason.

If Jews proselytized, there would be a LOT more of them in the world than a few million.

What I’ve been reading here just lately is like a modern version of the Blood Libels.

It’s turning into a feeding frenzy.

Moses didn't murder someone, he saved someone else from a brutal beating.

So, you decided to read the Hebrew Scriptures from the time the Children Of Israel were in Egypt and left.
There is no history before that, at any other place.

I see how you are fooling yourself, in order to fool others.

There is all the history which was created by the Jews and a place called Israel and all the other peoples it dealt with, traded with, etc.

By all means be another person who denies who the indigenous people of the land are, when not ONE antiquity in the region can be called "Palestinian".

And the history written by the area's invaders like the Assyrians, Greek, Romans, Byzantine, Muslims, Crusaders, Ottoman Empire and the British will attest to that.

And all the visitors to the land before WWI who will attest in their writings that the land belonged to the Jewish people, and never spoke of ANY people called Palestinians, much less a country called Palestine.

Not today.
But 2000 years ago?

"Most scholars hold that for practical purposes, after the massive defeats of the Jews in the uprisings of 66-74, 115-117, and 132-135, proselytism by Jews ceased after the last of these uprisings because of the penalty of death imposed by the Romans for proselytism ..."
Wrong. But what do you care.

It was actually only during the first few years, or months, of Christianity, that Jews attempted to proselytize, but the Chief Rabi told them to stop.

Why? Because it is not part of Judaism. Before and after.
