“I have made it clear [to Putin] that Hungary needs Russia,” Orban told reporters last year. In 2014, he also said Europe “shot itself in the foot” as the sanctions policy pursued by the West “causes more harm to us than to Russia.”

"Solution to refugee crisis lies in ‘destroying terrorism’ – Putin after talks with Orban"

Politics and business and large confessions. :)
Solution to refugee crisis lies in ‘destroying terrorism’ – Putin after talks with Orban

Putin:

"The reason for today’s problem with migrants lies in the destabilization of states and whole regions of the world – North Africa, Afghanistan and other nations. And in order to resolve the migration problem, we need to eliminate the root cause of this – we need to restore statehood, the economy and the social sphere in these states, so that people can live in their own nation or return home. We need to create all the necessary conditions for this. But to do this, we need, first and foremost, to eliminate terrorists. This is our number one challenge."

Hungary’s prime minister, Viktor Orban defended his handling of the migrant crisis by heaping responsibility on Germany:

“It’s not a European problem, it’s a German problem”

he told press after meeting with European Parliament president, Martin Schulz, a German socialist, in Brussels.

Laying blame is easy, it is the solution that must be considered.

Yes, but Orban and Putin steer from the right side now. They typically prefer nationalists and not communists. You understand it so they are similar like Trump in America.

Not quite.

Authoritarians who use the power of the state to oppress the people are all leftists. Regardless if they're nationalists, collectivists, internationalists, fascists or theorcrats.

The left side of the spectrum gives power to government, the right favors the power of individuals. The euroweenie perspective is more like a pretzel than a coherent rational line.

Trump is not a right winger either. He believes in the power of government to advance political agendas in spite of the desires of individuals.
