Protective Edge Really About Gaza's Natural Gas?

No articles have debunked the myth, hon. That was your starting point. Further, the author is a Palestinian activist/student. It's a shit mag.

Hamas poses the same threat to Israel that IS poses to the US.

Grow up. Israel was not the aggressor here.
Zionism is the aggressor here. As early as 1891 the Jewish National Fund sought "to redeem the land of Palestine as the inalienable possession of the Jewish people." The Arabs and Jews who were living there at the time understood the violence that would bring to the Holy Land. Today's events in Gaza are just a continuation of the Zionist plan to rule all the land between the River and the sea for the benefit of Jews.

Israel is a Nation now........Has been since 48. Perhaps it's time for your worn out rhetoric to find something else to complain about.

If you continue the rhetoric, you support WAR.

In 2000 British Gas (BG) discovered about $4 billion worth of natural gas reserves off the coast of Gaza. Wildly optimistic assessments have claimed the amount of gas in Palestine could make that nation as rich as Kuwait.

"In due reaction, since 2000, Israel has strengthened its maritime blockade on Gaza, denying Palestine basic rights over its territorial waters, driving away Palestinian fishing boats, and contaminating the waters so heavily from its naval attacks that the fishing industry essentially collapsed.

"'On its coastal littoral,' reported Peter Beaumont from Gaza several years ago, 'Gaza’s limitations are marked by a different fence where the bars are Israeli gunboats with their huge wakes, scurrying beyond the Palestinian fishing boats and preventing them from going outside a zone imposed by the warships.'

"It is discernible that this is directly due to Israel’s appetite for Palestinian gas.

In recent years, Israel’s energy crisis has deepened..."

Sure, it's a stretch even if the greedy Jews don't steal 90%:eusa_angel:

Zionism requires WAR:

"(T)he Zionist movement, from the beginning, looked forward to a practically complete dispossession of the indigenous Arab population so that Israel could be a wholly Jewish state, or as much as was possible.

"Land bought by the Jewish National Fund was held in the name of the Jewish people and could never be sold or even leased back to Arabs (a situation which continues to the present).

"The Arab community, as it became increasingly aware of the Zionists’ intentions, strenuously opposed further Jewish immigration and land buying because it posed a real and imminent danger to the very existence of Arab society in Palestine.

"Because of this opposition, the entire Zionist project never could have been realized without the military backing of the British.

"The vast majority of the population of Palestine, by the way, had been Arabic since the seventh century A.D. (Over 1200 years)

"In short, Zionism was based on a faulty, colonialist world view that the rights of the indigenous inhabitants didn’t matter.

"The Arabs’ opposition to Zionism wasn’t based on anti-Semitism but rather on a totally reasonable fear of the dispossession of their people."

Geeshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

George appears desperate to justify the existence of Hamas. Get a grip George.............
Hamas is a creation of Israel.
It wouldn't exist if Jews were willing to share the land and water of Palestine.
Jews repeatedly prove they are not willing to share.
How would you respond if you were told to leave land your family had owned for generations or stay alive just long enough to watch your children die?

WWII killed over 50 million people. The Grand Mufti of joined in the cause to slaughter the Jews all over the earth. They lost the WAR..........

They chose the wrong side..........

Israel was formed. And they can suck on it for being on the wrong side of the World's epic struggle. They have forced out Jews all over the region, so spare me the injustice. 60% of Israel was nothing but desert in the beginning.

BTW The Ottoman's owned the whole region until WWI. None of the countries there were actually countries until after WWI anyway.

Jews also sought an alliance with Hitler in exchange for defeating England during WWII.

Are you surprised?

"In January 1941, Stern attempted to make an agreement with the German Nazi authorities, offering to 'actively take part in the war on Germany's side' in return for German support for Jewish immigration to Palestine and the establishment of a Jewish state. Another attempt to contact the Germans was made in late 1941, but there is no record of a German response in either case.[12]"

Do you realize your people are baby killers?

"GAZA CITY — The four Bakr boys were young cousins, the children of Gaza fishermen who had ordered them to stay indoors — and especially away from the beach. But cooped up for nine days during Israeli bombardments, the children defied their parents and went out Wednesday afternoon, the eldest shooing away his little brother, telling him it was too dangerous.

"As they played on and around a jetty in the late-afternoon sun, a blast hit a nearby shack. One boy was killed instantly. The others ran. There was a second blast, and three more bodies littered the sand. One was charred, missing a leg, and another lay motionless, his curly head intact, his legs splayed at unnatural angles.

Even if baby killing Jews thought Hamas was hiding nuclear weapons in the shack, why did they fire a second shell at three running children thirty seconds later?

Wrong answer.

How many children have the Palestinians killed over the years? Two can play that game silly person. The ledger of dead children tilts far, far into the Palestinians scoreboard.

Neutral Gas? spare me the bullshit, Gaza is too close to the sea to contain ANY neutral gas - It's about sending Gaza back to the Stone Age literally - let them throw rocks, no more wedding shooting Gazans!

Islam's conquests don't absolve the Zionist colonization of Palestine.

"As the periodic bloodshed continues in the Middle East, the search for an equitable solution must come to grips with the root cause of the conflict. The conventional wisdom is that, even if both sides are at fault, the Palestinians are irrational 'terrorists' who have no point of view worth listening to.

"Our position, however, is that the Palestinians have a real grievance: their homeland for over a thousand years was taken, without their consent and mostly by force, during the creation of the state of Israel.

"And all subsequent crimes — on both sides — inevitably follow from this original injustice."

The Origin of the Palestine-Israel Conflict

The Jews have the fourth or fifth most powerful conventional army in the world and dozens of nuclear weapons they can deliver from air, land, and sea.

They would seem the bigger threat at this point in time
