Progressive Propaganda: The Socialism Edition

“Universal Healthcare” is socialism. Socialism doesn’t work. It has never worked. Every nation with “universal healthcare” has a healthcare system that is far inferior to the United States.

Hahahaha! You got owned and you know it.

You're the reason why I don't typically play chess with pigeons. ;) Puncturing the membrane of your delusion and stupidity is impossible. Anybody with a brain can see that you're a dumb ass. I won't spend any more energy on actual debate when I've achieved what I sought to achieve. You go ahead and think you're right, simpleton. You were always going to do that no matter what.

Nearly every single person supports socialist programs. The only question is who is benefitting.

Giving corporate farms billions of dollars of taxpayers money is socialism in the same way.

The only people who support socialism are the uneducated/ignorant who have never lived under it and never studied it.
The most dramatic shift happened in the state of Florida, where the Hispanic population consists of a large number of Cubans and Venezuelans. Despite the rise in socialist popularity among our youth, those with the most direct personal experience with left-wing government came out hard against it.
Educated/experienced people want no part of socialism. They understand it is a failed ideology.
But we do live under socialism and we love it. We also live under capitalism and communism and we love them too since each has a place in our society. Only an ideological purist would say otherwise.

They say that they aren't socialist.

That's because they're not actually socialist and neither is universal healthcare. That's just what uneducated imbeciles on the right say. What about you though?

Is universal healthcare socialism or not?

Are the Scandinavian countries socialist or not?

Your answers to those questions should be the same.

The question is not "is universal healthcare Socialist or not"

The question is "whatever you call it, would it be good for our country" The answer is no.

Only when you intentionally mislabel it.

Only when you love it when you benefit. What the Federal Reserve does is NO different than what people want with health care.

The people with Medicare or former military and the people who have employee sponsored healthcare do not want it. Single-payer will do away with employer sponsored healthcare. Those of us that actually make money will foot the bill through enormous taxes or surcharges. The losers will pay nothing as usual. The quality of care will decrease dramatically as there is no competition. There will be a shortage of qualified doctors, leading to an influx of less qualified doctor’s to make up the difference. Doctor’s salaries, particularly specialists, will drop drastically to a point where the best and the brightest no longer choose that profession, decreasing the quality of care. The US will no longer have the clear advantage in the development of new drugs because there won’t be a financial incentive for the massive costs of R&D. There is a reason the vast majority of new ground breaking medicines come from US Pharma; we don’t have a government run healthcare system. The government would rather people die off anyway...saves them money. Nobody is governing the government. The government will decide what they will pay for and what they won’t pay for and only the elite and government folks will have a say. Many elective surgeries will no longer be covered. People over certain ages will be kicked to the curb. (see Ezekiel Emmanuel’s comments) This is what will happen in reality. Nobody will be better off because of it in the long run, even the non-contributors, as they currently have access to better care (more qualified, better medicines, less waiting times) than they would under a fully government run system.

Whether people want it has nothing to do with what I said.
