Pretti Shooting my opinion as a member of US Lawfare

Lefties all live in crime ridden shithole cities, didn’t you get the memo?

Keep your story straight.
Is this your cute, rather clumsy attempt at being sarcastic?

Anyway, to be more serious: You know nothing about the reality a lot of Americans face, because people like you live sheltered lives. I know little about you but I think I have a pretty good idea of the average income of households in your neighborhood.

Amazing that I managed to make it all these years without being the victim of a gun crime.

Must have been a miracle.
that, or no one bothered checking your mothers basement.

Do you practice any self-defensive measures?
Other than not being a dumb ass? Nope. And I don’t particularly feel the need to.

The odds that I’m going to be murdered by someone randomly on the street is exceedingly low. I’d rather focus on actual risks.

But what about being home-invaded? Doesn't matter how much you try not to be a "dumb ass", you can't control stuff like that. If some criminal wants to invade your home, you literally can't do anything to prevent that.

Still exceedingly uncommon.

I didn't ask you how common it is. I ask you if you have any control over stuff like that.

You seem to think that if people get home-invaded, it's because they are being dumb asses. And I am telling you that is not true.
I chose where I live. I keep my doors and windows locked. I have a security system. It’s worked out so far.

I don’t understand people who want to walk around every day with a gun other than acknowledging the fact that human beings are absolutely terrible at risk assessment.

We worry a lot about very uncommon things.

You chose where you live, but some people can't do that, and it could be because they don't have the income to live in safe neighborhoods. It's not because they are being dumb asses.

As for locking doors, setting alarms...etc, these things offer little protection against a really determined burglar. Again, you don't have to worry about this because you probably live in an upscale, safe, gated neighborhood where burglars aren't common.

You don't know about his and his wife's situation though. So you can't really accuse them of being terrible at assessing their risk of being home-invaded.

Another dimension is peace of mind. Some people are very security-conscious, so even though they live in a safe neighborhood, they still want their loved ones (especially the female ones, who tend to be physically weak) to be 100% safe. It's not because they are "poor at risk assessment".

I really think you should let people worry about whatever they want to worry about, without commenting on it. It's the polite thing to do.

Pushing, bumping an officer, who has given you ample opportunity to remove yourself is. He went to look for trouble that day and trouble found him, period
It was ICE that turned a mild confrontation into a fatality

Having watched several videos of the Pretti incident, I absolutely believe that per the first publicly released video, that he did nothing, other than film ICE, to deserve any physical contact by ICE.

And, what rapidly escalated, with ICE approaching Pretti resulted in his murder.

Upon watching the second video released to the Public,..... Pretti was not an "Innocent Bystander". He spit at an ICE Vehicle, & deliberately kicked out the tail light of the vehicle, which brought about the confrontation with ICE.

Pretti should've been arrested at that time, if not for "Obstruction", then for "Vandalism". But for some reason ICE released Pretti.

Pretti, judging from the second video, was no "Saint", as the liberals wish to portray him, but again,.... Per the First Video,.... Pretti was Murdered.

Your timeline is not correct

The confrontation where he screams at them and spits on the vehicle was a few days before
The video of him kicking out a taillight looks AI generated

I don’t need to watch movies to know the strike probability of a knife versus a firearm in an up lose real world encounter.

I fear the knife more.

More moronic posts from a member of the Death Cult. You don't know your ass from a hole in the ground.

There should have been no confrontation for ICE, they are doing their job, the guy should not have bumped, and pushed the officer, period. To then have a weapon on you to boot. Just not the brightest bulb in the pack, but then he is a liberal

If we use psychology we can say Prettis poor judgment and possible emotional disturbance killed him
If we use the law then the ICE agents had no right to use deadly force
